Prenatal pouches.
I'm not sure. The idea of pouches kind of makes me nauseous when I'm not pregnant. Not sure I could stomach them pregnant.

I am sensitive to food textures and have issues with anything mushy. There's no way I could have stomached this while pregnant!

It doesn't gross me out but I still probably wouldn't eat it because it kind of seems like a gimmick. If I got one for free I would try it! I guess they could be handy for on the go?

Maybe. Texture doesn't bother me. It's the taste that would get me. I ate one of my daughter's pouches once out of desperation, and it was the taste that got me (banana).

I would, but I eat pouches when I'm not pregnant, especially if I'm at a birth and need something quick, no mess, and that won't cause lingering smells.

I can't imagine I would want to. But I guess if it tasted good and didn't seem gross I would try it in the first trimester when all I could eat are white carbs? Like @kitty: I would try a sample but I don't think I'd would buy it.

Nope. I don't think I'd be able to handle that texture, and would much rather eat the whole foods. Especially something with apples--there's just something so satisfying about biting into a crisp, juicy apple that can't be beat.

Nope. I don't give them to my kids either. The whole pouch thing really grosses me out.

Barf. Pregnant women are pregnant....not senile elderly women with no teeth.

No! Why would I suck something like a baby, plus it looks like heartburn. I'd rather have a smoothie.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
That flavor sounds revolting. That being said, I did really like smoothies while pregnant. But kale+ginger kind of turns my stomach

Gross. No. I'll stick to the smoothies I make at home.
Now I feel mildly guilty for making LO eat 1,094 of these each week!

My friend's doula suggested she bring Larabar's and pouches to the hospital while she was in labor (to keep her energy up), if anything would make me throw up/feel sick during labor it would be eating a Larabar and/or a pouch. Gross!

If you were so nauseated you could not keep anything down, I could see using this to quickly choke some nutrition down. I'd be pretty miserable subjecting myself to that though.
wonderful pea / 17279 posts
No, only because I think it would look silly of me sucking food out of a bag.
grapefruit / 4455 posts
@Rainbow Sprinkles: That made me lol.
No! I already think these are expensive to give to babies..not something I'm going to add to my grocery bill. And yuck!
grapefruit / 4355 posts
Nope. It does not seem very appealing to me. Plus, I really don't get this whole fad with putting everything in pouches.

Nope! I don't like eating out of plastic and this seems gross. Why would I need puréed food as a pregnant woman?

I picked something similar up from BRU while I was shopping and hungry. It seemed healthier than a candy bar. It was actually pretty yummy and had low calories and veggies. So yeah. I would. But I wouldn't eat them regularly.
