I used to chop it really really short (like spiky short!) but I probably won't do anything quite so drastic again!

Yup! I used to have hair down my back and chopped it off to shoulder length. Now I keep it that way.

Depends on how short, it's about 2-3 inches below my chin now, I'd go maybe just up to it or slightly above but no more.

I've done drastic chops a few times and I plan on doing it again at the end of the summer.

I did a drastic 8 inch chop after my wedding in October. Now I'm debating on whether to keep it that way or grow it out. It's pretty cute but I kind of miss my long mermaid hair lol.

I've done it it 3 times, the most recent chop was after LO was born. I'd chop it again, just probably not right after I had a baby

I'm going back and forth between cutting it or just leaving it as-is. I need to be able to pull it back, but I'm itching for a change. I may just chop it and get it over with.

A few times I have chopped my hair into a short bob, so short the back has to be shaven a bit. I like it and will likely do it after kids.

Yep! Hair grows back. I'm getting mine cut next week. I'm debating on whether I should chop it.

I do, fairly often! I let it grow to a certain length, then hack it all off.

@Mrs. Rabbit: haha that was basically my requirements at the last couple cuts. I don't mind short but it still needs to be long enough to pull into a ponytail.

Every 2-2.5 years I cut 12-14 inches and donate it! Done 3x now, will likely do it again.

I hacked 15 inches off it last april! But it's a lot more work to maintain a cute/short haircut than long bra-length hair. I can do a french braid bun really quick (dirty, wet, whatever) and it looks professional. Short hair....no

Yup! I had boob length hair then chopped it to my chin Nd kept it there for about 6 years. I'm in the process of growing it out and am SO over it...

When I was in my 20's I did a few times but now that I am older I feel like short hair will make me look old!

I have never had it shorter than shoulder length. My hair is so thin/fine that it goes all kinds of crazy if it's not below my shoulders.

When I was 14 I chopped my hair from hip length to chin length, Now it's even longer than it was, butt length haha.

Yep, I joke that I'm on a three year cycle. I get my hair cut every 12 weeks. My hair grows very fast and I chop off 12-14 inches each time. I've done it three times. The last time I did it was in February.
I love the shorter cut.
