It's pretty common in Korean culture to get semi-permanent eyebrows. Asians tend not to have a lot of body hair (I don't shave at all), which means short eyelashes and eyebrows, and looking washed out without eye makeup.
Nowadays they can do it so it looks very natural, so I've been thinking about it!
Would you consider it? Or have you tried it?

I wouldn't because makeup trends change. Some days I like to wear brown eyeliner and some days I wear black.

I have friends who have done their eyebrows and permanent eyeliner!
I might get my eyebrows done when I'm older!

Probably not. I feel like the trends change often enough that I wouldn't want to be stuck with something. Ten years ago, everyone had super thin eyebrows, but now it's en vogue to have more substantial eyebrows. I'd just want the option to change.

I've heard as you age and skin sags the make up will then look lower. Is that true? I don't think I would do it. I don't mind doing my make up. Permanent blow dried hair? Sign me up

my mom has gotten some "permanent" makeup--i put it in quotes because it's not really permanent, she has to redo them, but maybe i'm thinking of something else, like makeup tattoos? i haven't thought about it but would consider it for eyeliner. i haven't found an eyeliner that doesn't run on my greasy monolids.

Not opposed to have my eyebrows filled in because i literally have missing spots of hair on my brows. wtf? But I don't mind doing it for now. Maybe when I'm older and have trouble

I wouldn't.. I change the way I wear makeup and honestly the couple people I have seen that have permanent make up (eyebrow and eye liner) it doesn't look good or natural in my opinion.

my MIL did her lips and it did not come out that great. My aunt did her eye brows and they are a little too dark for my taste. I would say no

I would consider eyebrows if I knew 110% that they would look good. Half the time they don't look good on others though

i got my eyeliner tattoo done and i love it. I will probably have to go for a touch up in a few years, but its soooo worth it. I will probably do my eyebrows next.

Probably the only thing I would do is eyebrows, but I already have dark/thick eyebrows. I think I'd be too worried my preferences would change for eyeliner or lip color. My friend's mom got her eyebrows done and they've faded to kind of a weird color, but they were done long time ago. I'm sure the technology is improved now!

@Mrs. Champagne: IMO this is very true! I used to work at a makeup store in NYC and saw this many times on older women who had their eyebrows done The tattooed part was lower than the actual natural eyebrow 
From seeing this in action, I wouldn't do it on myself!
But hell yes if I can stick my wet head under some magical machine and have a perfect blow out in record time!!

I saw a video about the semi-permanent eyebrows. It looked really good afterwards. I have more eyebrows than i can handle though so not needed here. Haha
Otherwise, no. I'm too afraid of changing trends.

I have aunts that got this in the 90s and it looks horrible. I figured it can't possibly be the same thing, so I looked it up and found this.
Wow, it looks good! But personally, I wouldn't. My eyebrows are thick enough and I'm too cheap

For me? No way. But I could see something like eyebrows not being too crazy a stretch. Something about permanent eyeliner seems odd. What if you are going to the gym or somewhere where you would expect to not have makeup on? Wouldn't the eyeliner look odd without the rest of your face being done?

No. Haha it actually reminds me of something grandmothers do because my grandma has had it done (and re-touched up) several times.

The new trend now for semi permanent eyebrows is called eyebrow embroidery, and from what I've seen online, they look really natural! Totally different from what moms and grandmas did in the 90s. I would be interested but have yet to find a place here in NY.
