Was going to buy one for my nephew but my husband was surprised and said that he thought play kitchens were for girls only. Would you get one for your son?

Yup we plan on getting one as a birthday or Christmas gift. They make plenty of gender neutral colored ones. Your nephew will probably love it.

Yes, absolutely!! We got one for our 1yr old for Christmas last year, and he still uses it almost daily. Make-believe play is super important!

But to answer the question -yes- if I was going purchase a play kitchen I would- regardless of the gender of my child.

I'm getting my son one for Christmas! But I would ask the parents first just because that's a larger gift that takes up a decent amount of space. My MIL is forever buying my son big presents that I don't have room for, so I always think of that!

My son doesn't love his, it is a storage closet for his cars. He prefers his cutting food, pop up toaster and microwave.

We got him a tool bench instead. He loves it!

It's one of the most played toys we have at home. Both of my boys love it and started playing with it before they could walk.
