This is all hypothetical since I'm not pregnant, but my husband and I are always going round and round with baby names. We have pretty different styles, especially for girls. We have recently agreed on a name that we both really like - Alice. The only problem is that my husband's name is Alex... Alice and Alex? They sound like almost the same name!

On top of that, my name is Ashley. So that's just a lot of A names. (And my brother-in-law's name is Allen!). But, the more I think about it, the more I think it doesn't really matter and if we like the name, who cares if it sounds like Alex? Is that really weird? Would you ever choose a name that sounds a lot like your own, or your SO's?
