I would! DH and his brother started a business venture together--exciting stuff!

My siblings yes.
My BIL who passed away, yes. We actually talked about it for a while. The current BIL that is still alive...no.

I personally wouldnt because neither of my siblings are good with money, and I wouldnt want that to ruin our relationships

Just as I could never work with my husband in a professional setting, nor could I work with my sister. As much as I love them, it wouldn't be smart for our relationships.

Absolutely, positively not. My sister and I get along okay most of the time but she is terrible at working with other people (unless they're strangers..she's professional in her work environment, just not with people she knows like family), answering/returning calls, being considerate of other people's time and effort, etc.
I think in general it's a risky idea to go into business with friends and family. Before I would ever do it there would have to be strict legal parameters established to protect everyone involved. I've seen these types of business ventures go horribly, horribly wrong.

My brother, yes. My BIL, no. My BIL makes good money but is a bachelor and likes to splurge on anything!

Absolutely not, not because they are family but because our personalities would butt heads way too much. We would survive a year of business together! Neither of my sisters are "leaders" and I have a feeling 90% of the responsibility would land on me, and I think this would cause some resentment.

Yes, I'd go into business with my sister. We (DH, my sister, and I ) are all teachers so we've joked about opening our own little school.

Nope. I don’t believe in engaging in any business dealings with family or friends. Too often things go wrong, and close relationships are ruined. I keep business and personal separate.

100% yes with my brother. We get along really well, and we think the same way. Oh yeah, and he's incredibly smart and successful. My husband's sister.... probably not. Not because she's not smart or good with money, but just because I think we think differently and would probably often disagree on the best course of action.

My brother's... No way! But I would with my sister. I also would with my huband's siblings.

No way! I love my siblings to death, but that would be a recipe for a nightmare

Nope! We get along great now, but I don't think we'd be able to work together. We're both too stubborn.

no way in hell, but if my siblings were different, I would consider it.

@chopsuey119: that is exciting!!
I could never do it. My brother and I have never seen eye to eye on anything in our lives. We are way too different to be able to do anything together.

Haha never! We'd fight way too much.
I would definitely consider working with or going into business with Wagon Sr. though. I know a lot of people advise against it but we have always worked well together.

@mrs. wagon: I would work with DH too! We work really well together!
