I would love to double date with other Hellobee parents! However, the cost of babysitting makes the idea totally impractical for us. Alas.
Would you go on a double date with another Hellobee couple?

Heck yeah! If only I knew any in the area. That would be an awesome way to meet people who are at the same point in life as you!

I would LOVE it! I can usually get my parents/sister to babysit, or my brothers for really cheap.
there is only one HBer near me, she is about an hour away and she doesn't have any kids yet... which isn't really an issue lol
We need more Minnesotan HBers!
ETA: oh wait... I thought of two more! thought one is a guest blogger.

Definitely, especially if I thought our DH's had anything in common!

I would totally! And there are about a dozen bees located within about 40 miles of me.

Yes, in a heartbeat. Our nanny gifted us 5 hours of babysitting for Christmas that we haven't used... Just waiting for the right time to take advantage!

@mrbee: Seriously... wanna go on a double date? Actually, my local @Honeybee: stands a chance of capitalizing on it.

@Mrs. Jacks: Maybe next Christmas, if your nanny gives you free airline tickets across the country?

@mrbee: LOL! I am bound to have reason to come to your neck of the woods in the near future.

Mr.Bee, what if you got a double date babysitter and split the cost with the other couple??
YES, I would totally love to do that.

@.twist.: Would one set of parents would have to drop their kids off at the other parents' house, and hope the kids sleep well there? If so, I would worry that that would end up not working out!!

Yes if our partners seemed to have anything in common. I only know of one near me but we hope to move soon.

@mrbee: haha kids stay up all night play party?! That doesn't sound exciting and fun to you??
admin / wonderful grape / 20724 posts
@.twist.: That sounds awful!!! Maybe when they're a bit older though, that'd be ok!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
I have! We've done out to dinner with another HB couple a few times.

@mrbee: hahaha! That does sound pretty awful. Although, I remember being a 7-9 year old girl and having sleep overs and keeping my parents up with insane amounts of giggling. You can never win!

Definitely!!!!! I think it'd be a blast! @Mrs. Pen: I'm TOTALLY on board with a HB community!
pomelo / 5178 posts
@Mrs. Jacks: we'd take you up on that in a heartbeat. What an awesome Christmas present!

@mrbee: if I lived on the east coast I would babysit Charlie and Olive so you and mrs.bee could go on a double date, as long as you didn't mind if I taught them Spanish.

Yes, if any HB's are in Beijing anytime in the next year or so, let me know!

I totally would. Too bad there aren't any near me. There are certain bees I SO want to meet! I mean, all the bees are great, but some of you seem like people I'd really click with.
I'd love to go on a double date with Mr. and Mrs. Bee, Rainbow Sprinkles, Runsyellowlites, Turtledoves, Chopsuey... and a bunch more I can't think of at the moment
Seriously though, it's a fantastic community. I constantly wish I could meet many of you in person, but I still feel lucky to "know" you all here.

Definitely! I actually met a girl at a weddingbee meetup about 3 years ago and she's now a very very good friend and we get together with her and her DH about once a month. Now A is here we do lunchtimes at one of our houses instead of evenings. They're great!

Absolutely! Lucky for us, we have lots of family in the area so it's a win-win for everyone.

Totally would! There's several cool bees in my area and so many I'd love to meet!
