Travel 100 years into the past or 100 years into the future?
I'd rather travel into the future!

hmm I'm going to be a fun wrecker and over analyze.
is this a quick trip? or a permanent, start your life at that point, trip?
for a quick trip..I think the future would make me sad. I just foresee more violence..pollution..etc. unfortunately.
I find history fascinating!

Since I imagine the future pretty much like the movie Idiocracy... Im going to say the past.

Past! I'm a history nerd. The early 1900's were a fascinating part of American history!

@loveisstrange: OMG, I totally do too. Frightening.
I think past as well. Going into the future, especially 100 years, who knows... DD might be gone, maybe I don't have any grandchildren, maybe something horrible happened. No thanks. I think it would be awesome to meet my grandparents - I never knew any of them except my paternal grandfather.

I'm going to say future, because I don't want to like, accidentally fall in love with my great grandfather, and have to worry about myself disappearing like Back to the Future, or otherwise interfering with the space time continuum.

I thought past for sure, then I thought, 1914? Was that a remotely interesting year?
Then I remembered that's the year that Franz Ferdinand was assassinated and WWI kicks off, so I don't know, really, if I want to be around in that time either!

@loveisstrange: YES. I say this all the time - I feel like we are definitely moving in the direction of Idiocracy - - quickly!
So, definitely the past for me – although could be scary and rather dicey depending on where you “landed” in 1914 (WWI and all).
I’d love to get to see Babe Ruth or Charlie Chaplin live though!!

I guess future, since I won't live that long to see 100 years pass!
