I would have to say Mr. Bee. He is an optimist and I'm a pessimist. That can have a dramatic impact on your life and your happiness. Plus he's smarter.
What about you?

My husband. He is much smarter than me, isn't a worry wart, is very easy going and is extremely funny.

Definitely my husband. He's so much more laid back than I am. Plus I have depression and anxiety issues and don't want my child to have to deal with that at all.

Ahhhh this is such a hard question! I'm a lot more optimistic than DH and more book smart, but DH is a doer, isn't afraid of confrontation and such a business whiz.
:T
If I had to choose, I'd want our kids to be more like DH. He gets ish done and makes things happen.

My husband. My hubs is more fun, more active, happy, optimist, smart, etc.

Definitely Wagon Sr. He is so knowledge-hungry, optimistic, well-liked, well-spoken, laid-back, and self-confident without being arrogant. I think I am the opposite in every way, and not in a good way.

Him, definitely. He's a lot more laid-back about life. Very easy-going, and has a great sense of humor...he's not afraid to laugh at himself. He has an insanely good memory and is ridiculously smart. He's also very naturally athletic and he has a metabolism I might kill for (if he wasn't my DH I'd be thrilled if our LO has those traits.
ETA: I hope LO gets my patience and empathy. DH has a bit of the latter, and little of the former.

Definitely hubs. He is SOOO patient, funny, laid back, fun and really smart.
The one thing I want LO to get from me is that I'm not a pushover like DH, and I'm more organized/practical than he is.

That's a hard one! We're so opposite that I'm hoping our kids are a mix of both of us. If I had to choose one, though, I'd say DH. He's very driven, goal oriented, a hard worker, smart, and everyone who becomes his friend stays his friend forever. I find it amazing how many people he maintains contact with.
@@futuremrsmck: Haha, your description of your DH reminds me of mine. Super athletic, and if he ever puts on a couple pounds, he just thinks about it and it's gone! He's also low on the empathy while I have an over abundance of it.

@joyjoy: Is yours a human garbage disposal too? I swear mine can eat his weight at every meal and still never put on an ounce. And if he does, he goes for a run and it's gone.

Probably my husband. My kid can have a few of my qualities, but overall, hubs is awesome. I'd be proud to have a kid grow up like him.

def my husband. he, like mr bee, is the optimist of our relationship, the go-getter and the even-keeled one. i am the emotional, a little lazy, anxious half of our relationship. definitely him!

Probably the hubby because he is such a social butterfly and can be like everyone's BFF. He's also optimistic and hard working.

Physically, him. He's naturally skinny, olive-skinned, handsome, and isn't prone to any chronic illnesses. Money-wise and career-wise, him - I do NOT care about money beyond having enough to make ends meet. He's much more practical about planning.
Academically and emotionally, me. I'm more empathetic, was MUCH better behaved as a child (because I wanted to be nice to my mommy), more apt to research an issue before I come to a conclusion (such as "of course company X does Y! Why would you even question that?" - I call, and they don't), etc. And we really hope any musical ability comes from my side, since he has no rhythm at all.

@futuremrsmck: YES! When we first started dating he would order a large pizza just for himself. It used to really gross me out, but now it's pretty useful because he eats whatever I don't finish. I'll only go to buffets if he's going, too, since I know he eats enough for both of us.
