Would you send your kids to the same schools that you went to?

Elementary - for sure, they'll be going there! It's a French Language school and they'll be bilingual when she graduates the 8th grade.
High School - I'd prefer if they were to continue in the French system unlike myself, but I'd be fine if she chose my high school. I suspect in the next 11 years it'll be getting a pretty big update/upgrade.

Absolutely not! That would mean living in my boring and not diverse Midwestern home town with mediocre schools.

Nope. While the schools I went to were good, they've gone way downhill. It's a sad sad thing.

I would send her to the Elementary school I went to from 3rd-5th grade, but NONE of the others. They were just awful!

eta: Oh I didn't realize you had college listed too. I would be fine with my daughter going to my college because it was the best education experience I had. But it is SUPER expensive so I would hope she chooses a cheaper school.

Our current house is zoned for the elementary school I attended. I had a great experience there, but I hear that it has some more problems now. Still, I would like to send any future LO there, but we'll have to do more research when/if the time comes. I feel pretty strongly about public school, but DH leans toward private, so there are a lot of long discussions in our future.

The private school that I went to for 6-12th grades is great, but I had a pretty lousy time there. Whether to send there would probably depend on how LO turns out.

College is similar - great school, not a great fit for me, so it would depend on LO's personality.

I think my elementary, middle and high schools would be ok. I heard that the HS started going downhill in the past few years. Too bad because it used to churn out a lot of high achievers.

My 2 universities would be amazing academically but I didn't particularly enjoy my experience. I have a dream school for LO to attend and it isn't either of the ones I went to :-).

Elementary: If I could send her to it THEN, sure, but it's a rough area now, although the classes are small, and half the teachers are experienced.... so maybe.

    Junior High: No Way!

High School: We hope to buy a house in that district since we both went there and enjoyed it the best we could. It was a good school.

DH and I both went to good/grade public schools from K-12. I would be fine with either but we don't live near our hometowns. So a private Christian preschool-12 school near us is likely. DH went to a military academy so it was free but he had to do 6 years of service afterwards (granted it was well paying automatic job opportunities straight out of school). I went to a $$$ private liberal arts college but got almost all of it paid with scholarships. Would be fine with either but I wouldn't want our kids in combat situations. DH was never in a dangerous war zone situation but he was lucky. My college was and is excellent and I would be thrilled if our kids went there, assuming it was affordable.
