I wouldn't. Go have a fun night out! DD gave MIL a hard time on our first night out but it didn't mess up her routine and she went to sleep eventually. Plus I think the bride would appreciate you being at both events

I would leave her with a sitter for one night, even bedtime; one wild & crazy bedtime won't kill her, and she may go to sleep easier than you think (I feel like even little ones get that babysitter isn't Mom/Dad and adjust their behavior). You deserve a night out!

I would personally take her if you think she will have a good time (and therefore you will have a good time too)!! The one wedding we took Wagon Jr. to, we planned on leaving early, but we stayed til 9:30pm because he was having such a great time and didn't melt down. His cousins (1 year and 3 years older than him) were both sleeping in the lobby and he was dancing on a chair watching the band! Finally we decided to quit while we were ahead and leave... we buckled him into the carseat, and by the time Wagon Sr. turned around to back the car out of the space he was asleep. LOL.

I took our son to a wedding when he was eleven months old, and it was.... fine. He was cute and sweet and everyone cooed at him, which was fun, but I definitely felt the pressure of keeping him happy and entertained the whole time. Now that he's two, there is no way I would take him. But, your two-year-old might be more mellow? If you think she'd be happy to hang out with you (and you want an excuse to leave a little early), then go for it.

My LO loves to party so I would totally take him! We recently had a family party and even though it was super late he was fighting us to leave lol.

I wouldn't. I would use it as an excuse to get out!
