If your SO was congested and nothing was working, would you agree to use a snot sucker on them?

That's what their fingers are for! Haha... I probably would... What you do for love....

No, they should be able to blow their own nose. If their nose is blocked then a snot sucker wouldnt work anyway and they would need to use saline spray or somthing similar prior to blowing their nose

I don't even like using it on my LO. It creeps me out.

He could use the baby's snot sucker himself, but he would have to clean it really well after! It's bad enough I have to put eye drops in his eyes since he can't stand to do it himself.

Funny! I was congested last week and asked my SO to nose frida me. He refused.

No!!! If they can't blow it out the snot sucker won't help!! Mrs Bee is probably suffering from nasal/sinus swelling if she still feels congested after blowing so the snot sucker will be useless!

@MamaMoose: This was a hypothetical!!!
I would totally suck her snot out if it would help... I have strong lungs, and it'd be great to be able to use them to do something besides blow up balloons for a party.

@mrbee: I'm suspicious... Bee posted about being sick earlier today!!

@MamaMoose: I offered but she said it wasn't a good idea... that humans generate way more snot than babies, and that besides she could just blow her nose and clear her sinuses that way.
It was just a random fun thought.

There isn't much I wouldn't do for my SO . . . I would never want it done to me, but if he were sick enough, you betcha. (Although - ewwwww!)

What a sweet offer but I am pretty sure Bee can blow her own nose? Or Neti pots are great!

I actually tried it on my husband just to see what it feels like for LO. It's not pleasant - he said it feels like your brain is being sucked out. But maybe it's because he wasn't sick. So I guess I would do it if he really needed it.

@mrbee: Bee has been sick for a long time -- I thought maybe you could be going for some extreme measures to make her feel better!!

I don't think so, we have a netipot and nose spray! I think those would do the same trick!

I don't think he would let me even if I did offer (which I wouldn't).

hehe. Many many times when I'm congested Wagon Sr. immediately offers to get the bulb sucker. Haha.

@mrbee: lol! I would never ever try it!!!
I hate the neti pot but I have to admit that it helps.

The hubby loves the netipot, which normally solves the problem. However, if the snot sucker would take care of the problem - yes.

Probably not, just because I doubt it would work.
But, if he insisted, I'd do it. I've used hair removal cream on his back before, it can't be any worse than that!
