I know it's slow moving right now, but if it were more active, would your SO join? I'm not sure if mine would...I'd think probably not, but then again, since it's geared towards guys and they probably talk "guy" stuff over there, he may like it.

My DH isn't into online forums or even facebook. He's tech savvy, but just doesn't enjoy it.

DH doesn't do online forums. He tried for a little bit on the pregnancy app community I follow but he didn't really like it..... It had alot of traffic but most of it was griping about their SO's being on pelvic rest & their "frustration".

I think Hellobee is skewed towards moms right now.
There are lots of threads that pertain to parents in general, but have the word "mom" in the title or text. As a dad, it's really off-putting. It's probably partly why dads mostly stick to dad-centric sites.

Nope! He doesn't participate in online discussion boards. He really only uses the Internet for YouTube and games. Lol.

He joined but never posted. He felt weird because we don't have a LO yet.

@mrbee: I think since there are so many females, although a lot of topics are general parenting related, guys feel weird or maybe like they are out of place. I know DH is part of an audio forum, but that's for music and I think there are only a couple women. Hence the reason why I don't participate in that particular forum, I feel out of place. I'm glad we have your male voice though mrbee

He is a part of the dad's board but he never posts. Says he doesn't have the time.

DH is very active on a few online forums but said he would never join a parenting forum. It just doesn't interest him the way it interests me.

I don't know. I don't think so, but he's very interested in HB and what we talk about

Absolutely not....he calls it "that site you're obsessed with" so I think that's a no for him. He cant get interested in anything that is not on ESPN.com

Mine joined and posted a few times but its not something he would do often.

@mrbee: I'm curious, what sites out there are dad-centric? Wagon Sr. has posted a few times but he's not consistent with any kind of social media other than reading every article on ESPN.com every day.
admin / wonderful grape / 20724 posts
@mrs. wagon: There are a lot of SAHD sites out there... not as many sites for WAH and WOH dads, but those are growing too.

He doesn't have the time. He already obsesses way too much over basketball on his free time.
