So I finally got my woven wrap! I want to try a back carry with my seven month old, but there are so many different videos out there. Can anyone link to a good method for a newbie?
Thanks!

Wrapping Rachel and Babywearing Faith are both great YouTube instructors A good starting point would be a secure high back carry, or a plain old ruck. My personal favorite is the ruck tied Tibetan, or the DRS2S, and they are simple to figure out once you get the ruck down.

@REVEL - can I ask what type/kind you got? I'm a beginner looking for one and am overwhelmed. I can't seem to find a meet up near me, so I've been doing some research. Thanks!

@Dagny: You can wall me if you want. I am by no means an expert, but I have a bunch of different sizes, blends, and brands and could help you get started

@grizz: Thanks for the suggestions. I was trying to get her on my back yesterday when I was home alone but she was so wriggly I was scared I was going to drop her! I think I'll have to do my first test runs with a second pair of hands.
@Dagny: I got a Dolcino (http://www.dolcinowraps.com/). I don't know a ton about them but I had a gift card to a local shop that sells them so that sealed the deal . It is pretty soft and was recommended by the owner as a good one for a beginner. So far it seems pretty easy to adjust and tie.

@Dagny: I would be happy to be a resource, too.
@Revel: I second @grizz: 's suggestions. A supported ruck, or a secure high back carry would be great places to start. You can always wall me if you want spotting or have questions, too. Or one of the other BW bees.
Slightly off topic, but I have now dipped my entire foot into the handwovens pool. And the water is FINE. Soooooooo nice to wrap with. I'm going to try to get some good pictures today on our outing.

@Mrs. Twine: Thanks for the offer to help and the suggestions for carries! I'm going to give it another shot tomorrow when I have my lovely assistant (da da) at home to help.

@Mrs. Twine: I must see this. Thread or wall post, please I'm wanting to book a custom slot, and the husband is actually not vehemently opposed ....

@GRIZZ and @MRS. TWINE - thank you!! Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what does 'wall me', mean?
@REVEL - that's great to hear because I was just reading about Dolcinos and heard they are great for beginners!

@Dagny: it means to post on that person's wall. not a dumb question. You can look up or click on the person's individual user name and then click on their wall and send a message there if you want it to just be for that person. And if you have gold you can make the messages private.
