On the one hand I completely agree with the woman - the doctor screwed up big time and made a serious mistake ("tied" the wrong tube) which left her having a baby that she wasn't prepared for at all. I understand her wanting money to help pay for the medical expenses (the baby has sickle cell) and for child care.
At the same time though, it breaks my heart that this baby is probably going to someday find out that her parents sued for "wrongful pregnancy". That would have to hurt.

So sad.
