I would travel but probably not go to the sports games lol. You should be able to check the stroller and car seat without any issue. Do you know what airline you will be flying? We flew delta for our last trip and we didn't bother putting our car seat or stroller in a case and they arrived to our destination just fine. (We gate checked the stroller). In hindsight, I would buy some kind of cover or case for your items if you can as our stroller's canopy ended up not making the trip home. Delta however was very nice and accommodating and sent us a check for more money than it was to replace the part!
At 3 months I would think your LO would just sleep through most of the flight and should travel much easier than an older baby. To be honest I wish I would have taken advantage of DS days when he was littler and traveled more instead of waiting until he was older as now he can't sit still!

Since you're not an NFL/American football fan, and wouldn't go to the game, I wouldn't go. I think that's a waste of the prize.

I didn't read the other responses... but just wanted to let you know that we travelled from Los Angeles to Boston when my son was 4 weeks old, from Los Angeles to Connecticut when my son was 8 weeks old, and from LA to San Francisco when my son was 14 weeks old, and each time was EASY. Traveling with a baby isn't hard. Here are my tips:
- If you have a baby carrier, put the baby in that to get through security. At least in the U.S., you don't have to take them out of the carrier to get through security.
- If you bring a stroller/carseat, it's MUCH easier if you check it with your luggage. I don't have a stroller, but we checked our carseat when we went to Connecticut and it was super simple. They put it in a plastic bag so it doesn't get dirty.
- Check all of your luggage except a diaper bag. Makes getting around the airport MUCH easier!
- Feed the baby at take off and landing if they get upset. My son didn't mind take off or landing, so I only fed him when he was hungry on the flight.
- Changing diapers on a plane: This depends on your comfort level, but I brought a changing pad and just changed him on the tray tables lol...
- Have fun!
I don't know if I'd bring a baby to a game, mostly because I wouldn't enjoy myself as much lol... If you do, just get noise canceling headphones.

@Reese: Looks like you're considering going! I think that's great. I was going to say that I would go, I am not a football fan, but there's something about watching the game live that makes it more interesting than watching it on TV, if that makes sense. I've been to a ton of sports games that I never watch on TV and I have always had fun.
