@yellowbird: that's what I am thinking!
@Reese: oh, nice choice. Have you been?
@sunny: that sounds lovely right now!

@Greentea: No! We have been to many of my other bucket list places but that is still on my list!

New Zealand. It looks so beautiful, but it's a long and pricy flight!

Wherever there is warm, clear, blue water, some sort of private hut/hotel room situation looking out on said water, and good room service.

I want to go to Bora Bora. But I don't want to deal with the flight time.

So hard to choose! I've been to New Zealand and LOVED IT and would love to go especially during their summer, but I'd like to go somewhere new.
I really want to to to Thailand, but also a pacific island like Tahiti, bora bora or Fiji

Cinque Terre, Italy!
No thanks on the hotel. I prefer a B&B or apartment where we can cook some meals.

@looch: Oh yes, there must be some sort of science fiction teleport involved.

DH and I always talk about revisiting the Maldives.

I would island hop in French Polynesia. But I would need to invest in some heavy anti-seasick meds first.

@Synchronicity: @Iced Tea: @matador84: Good choice! It is summer at the moment here in New Zealand so even better
I would pick America - specifically New York. I worked at a Summer Camp in North Carolina for 3 years (during the US summer, came home to NZ for our summers) when I finished high school and travelled around a bit but never made it to NY.

Australia used to be my dream vacation and I would basically do everything Oprah did with her OMG-so-lucky audience. However, I was reading Frommer's to learn about the tour companies for Italy and came across Abercrombie & Kent. The luxury tour company has an awesome multi-country tour on the African continent which costs $80,000! CNBC even wrote an article on it.
