I'm due the day after Father's Day so maybe? Maybe his gift will be the baby this year?

@mrbee: lol! Last year I used it to buy him one big gift (a new mountain bike) that would have been too pricey for just one occasion.

He used to joke that he wanted an ugly tie every Father's Day...but I've only seen him wear a tie like maybe twice in 6.5 years. He works in a warehouse, and even when he moves up in the company...the CEO still walks around in the warehouse wearing jeans and a flannel.
But DH wears a Hawaiian shirt to work every Friday (he says he's trying to start a trend--over a year and no bites, lol), and said he'd prefer to receive one of those instead. So I got him a Hawaiian shirt. The part he doesn't know is that I got a matching one for DS.

Our LO is still in my belly, but I'll get DH something (probably a book or his fav sports team onesie?) from the baby for father's day.

Yes, it's DW's birthday first, so LO has bought her a present for that first, and then will buy her a Mother's Day gift as well. I suppose we need to write these down so that when he's old enough, we can tell him what he gave to her!

@prettylizy: I'm sure he loved his bike!! I bought a while ago but have almost never used it... hopefully I'll get more use out of it this summer!

@mrbee: We're getting one of these this year so he can take DD on rides too. Not sure if that makes a ton of sense in NY though.... crowded streets/sidewalks might not be so easy to navigate

@prettylizy: The bike I got has a seat behind me... I just haven't used it because I can't see if Charlie's still in it unless I turn around. I need to get a little mirror or something so I can easily check on him!

Ok so if I say what I am going to do for DH it's really going to be showing just how nearly our family is. I am going to have the kids picture taken. Each of the boys is going to be dressed like the last three doctors from Doctor who and Lilly is going to be in a blue tardis dress with a crochet tardis hat. I know it's wicked nerdy but I am so excited. I am desperately trying to find cheap options for the boys jackets to match the doctors.

Ooooh yeh! Thanks for the reminder! I have to look-up when it is here and remember what plan to go by. I think it was to celebrate the US date for us and continue celebrating the Swedish date with the in-laws.

I will be! I don't know what yet though but since it will be his first father's day I want to celebrate it! Going to see what he does for mother's day first and see how that goes.

I'll still be pregnant (fingers crossed), but I'll likely get him something from the little one. I'm hoping he gets me something for Mother's Day - preferably the diaper bag I want!
