He does. I'm more of the low key type because I hate being old and getting older. He likes it and accepts it.
This year I threw him a chick fil a themed party. It was awesome.

Not really. He's pretty low key, too. We usually invite some friends over for dinner to celebrate and/or have a nice dinner with the two of us. He turned 30 this year, so my friend and I planned a big joint party for DH and his best friend since their birthdays are a week apart. We planned it around all their favorite foods, hobbies, etc, so I thought he'd enjoy it. It was like pulling teeth just getting him there.

Nope! DH doesn't like to, but I'm throwing him a party this year!

My husband is pretty low key as well. Our norm is to take a half day for each other's birthdays and go have lunch together. If it's on a weekday dinner will be him & I and we'll make each other's favorite meal. Then usually the weekend before we celebrate with close friends of ours and ILs when they used to live here.

He does enjoy his birthday. I usually make a big deal out of it. Last year he was a little less enthusiastic because it was his 30th. We had a weekend getaway and I threw him a surprise party when we got back.

My husband is an anything goes kind of guy. He likes being appreciated for sure though. we usually get each other really nice gifts, but we haven't really ever thrown each other parties. Partly because we moved here two years ago and just started meeting people the last couple months.
He appreciates a family meal, a dinner with me and whatever I choose as a gift

We're both low key about birthdays now that we're past 30. We both took our birthdays off of our facebooks because we didn't want all the birthday wishes. Haha. Such birthday grinches.
We've decided now to either treat our friends to a really nice dinner or go on a weekend trip to celebrate our birthdays from now on (they're 12 days apart).

My husband does not like the attention but we always seem to have a cookout with friends and family over near his birthday, he loves to grill out and use his smoker. Yet, he wont allow me to get him a cake, so i try to make a couple of his favorite desserts. Then i take him to a dinner of his choice.

He's low key. We have the same birthday so he's caught as he likes making a fuss of me on my day...which is also his. Neither of us are party types so we usually just spend the day together and have a really nice dinner.

Hubs is normally low-key, but we had a party last year to celebratee his birthday. We had moved into a new apartment about 3 months before, but then I miscarried, got sick, had tons of health stuff going on, so his party was our chance to show everybody that we were back to normal and ready to live a regular life again. My birthday is coming up in about 6 weeks and I don't imagine we'll do much to celebrate.

DH LOVES birthdays!! Usually it's low key with just us, but last year was his 30th so I did a lil something for him everyday of his birthday week and then threw him a surprise party with close friends

My hubby is usually really low key so we do a nice dinner with our closest friends. He's turning 30 this year so I wanna do something big/memorable, but haven't thought of anything yet...

DH is also super low key about his birthday - he doesn't like much ado except going out to dinner (though he does love gifts). This year, I think I'm going to get him an ipad. He's been wanting one and he definitely deserves one : )

DH's birthday is coming up too! He loves getting gifts so he is all about it. He always is dropping super obvious hints so I can never surprise him with a gift - annoying!
