DH got me a new handbag, which I was not expecting. I am going to exchange since I have this bag in black already. But I was shocked!! New bags are my favorite things!

My husband got me a heart necklace with our birthstone in it (hyla and I share a birthstone). The birthstone is in the shape of a small heart inside a larger heart. Cue tears. The sweetest gift ever.

My stepmother sent a family lineage photo album. Most pictures of my childhood were destroyed, but she managed to find copies of some, including some I'd didn't even know existed, plus pictures and info on my dad, his parents, and all of his grandparents, and his great-grandparents.

My H got me a garmin watch for running, which I'm pretty excited to use. I've been eyeing it forever! My mom got us a gift certificate for a fancy restaurant in our new city (we moved a few months ago). I thought that was really thoughtful and I'm looking forward to a nice meal out

This is going to sound so cheesy... The stocking from my boss when we went over to her house for xmas lunch. Her family was so sweet and welcoming, and for her to think of getting DH and I anything just overwhelmed me.
It was just so nice to have a nice day with 'family', even if they weren't related!

A marmot running jacket from DH. I've only recently started running and it was a totally unexpected and thoughtful gift. He also gave me a bracelt with LOs birthstone. I'm very happy

Giving a single mother and her two young kids gifts on their wishlist! We opted to sponsor instead of exchange gifts this year and I was really OK with that. I hope those kids received the shock of their life this morning.
