Squeals, then either waves and says hi, or just runs up to each of them pointing and laughing like he's so happy to see them.
He's almost 2.

2.5 and I think he would just run off to play with them. But if it were a lot of people in general he might would feel overwhelmed and act shy at first... hard to know for sure!

Ignores it. Probably smiles, but doesn't say anything. He is pretty shy. 2.

If it were a ton of kids she'd probably smile really big and hide her face for a minute. If it were 3-4 close ones she'd run up and start playing.

He is three - he would grin, look at me and say, "Hi mama."
He says hi to me when he gets shy! It's so funny.

I think she would grin and look really pleased, but stick close to me for a few minutes if it was a lot of kids. If it was just a couple of friends she knows well she would probably run in. She's 1.5.

2.5 and it depends on which mood she' s in...she either runs away from us straight to the kids, or grabs our leg and plays shy for a couple minutes and then runs over to them.

She would just kind of smile and grab on to my leg. She's 18 months. It takes her a few minutes to warm up.
