Your LO's cousins

LO has two cousins, a brother and sister who live about nine hours away by car. That is most likely all she will ever have; I would be very surprised if my brother decides to procreate. She'll likely see those cousins 2-3 times a year.

I grew up with a lot of cousins who I still see fairly regularly, and one who lives nearby will have a baby about 6 months younger than LO. She will grow up with my cousins' kids the way that I did with my first cousins.

Only 1. We see him during the holidays and a few times a year. However, she has quite a few second cousins she has yet to meet: twin girls the same age, and sisters around her age from DH side of the family, plus a couple more around here age scattered around the globe.

LO has two cousins. We see them about once a year, since we live far away from them.

My kids have one cousin (6) on my side and one on DH's (11). We live about 2.5 hours from each but try to see them regularly. DD1 (3.5) is obsessed with her cousins. DD2 is almost 10 weeks.

DD has many 2nd cousins But only 1st cousin..my sisters daughter they are 7 mos apart. (DD is 7 mos. Olivia is 14mos) We live about 2 hrs away but they get to see each other a couple times a month. Love seeing seeing them interact together. Born as cousins but as close as sisters ❤

2 on my side. And they are 8 and 10 (my boys are almost 3 and 1 week old). Those are the only cousins he will have. DH's sister never had kids and doesn't want any (and is older now). My brother is done. So 2 it is.

One on my side who is 7 months older than LO2. They live in town, so we see her every week.

Two on my husband's side, one two years older than LO1 and one two months younger than LO1. They live an hour away and we see them about once a month.

We keep thinking about moving to a more affordable area, but it's so hard to imagine leaving our families, especially now that we have close-in-age cousins nearby!

My kiddos are 2.5 and 3.5 years old.

On DH side, they have 1 cousin who is just over 1 year old. We see them at least 1 time a month, usually a couple times though.

On my side they have 9 cousins. My sisters kids(10,8,5) live out of state, so we see them only a handful of times. My brothers kids(5,2.5,1 and 10,1) we see at least once a week because my mom watches my kids and one of my brothers kids one day a week. And the other brother brings his kids over most of the time that day to have the kids all play.

None of them are local anymore, but we make it a point to talk to them via Skype. My son is very trusting of people, he warms up to older kids a lot easier than younger kids, so he does great with my SILs three kids (ages between 6 and 13).

It's a little more challenging with my brother's son, only because of the current age difference. I have a feeling when they are both older it won't be an issue.

DD has 2 cousins, both on DH's side! One boy who's almost 3 and one girl who's like 2 weeks older
