Does your most annoying coworker(if you have one) irritate you more in person or in written correspondence? My most annoying coworker is ok in person but his emails and inter-office IMs annoy the hell out of me!!! His emails always carry the same theme...the weight of our company is on his shoulders! Um...not really!

IN PERSON. Definitely. In person, I want to punch her. Although her emails make me crazy, too, because she typically types her entire email as the subject.

@ELKO2010 that's pretty funny about the entire email being typed as the subject, if I had to see that kind of email all the time though, that would def annoy me.
in person. she makes mountains out of molehills. she's set in her ways, and has a it's-not-my-job attitude. thank goodness i don't have to work with her on a daily basis, just once in a while, or else she'd drive me nuts.

Mine in person, because i've never e-mailed him. He is THE biggest creep evevvrrrr. 69 years old and would jump any 16 y/o's bones if given the chance. ick

In person definitely. She drives me insane… never taking credit for things that she did, always shoving people under the bus and judging people’s eating choices LOL.

But I get more irritated in person, she asks for suggestions but then shoots them down every time! For instance today: she was unable to login to a website that we use frequently, the rest of us were having no issues. I suggested restarting her computer to make sure there wasn't an update she was missing, and you would have thought I asked her to delete her hard drive or something! She thought that was the most ridiculous suggestion ever...she is still not in to the site, and still refuses to restart! ha

Either? My paralegal is the absolute worst communicator! She will call me even though she's just outside my office. 95% of the time she doesn't even respond to my emails to let me know if she's busy or can't get to something. Drives me insane!

In person. One of the assistants in my group has been working here for 17 years and has a ton of friends who come to her cube at regular times of the day to shoot the breeze. It's annoying enough to hear the convos all day, but if she's not at her desk they ask me where she is and I want to smack them and say I'm not her secretary.

OMG In person.....she's just awful. And I know it's terrible to hope for but her 90days is up real soon and I think they may be letting her go. She just doesn't get it and doesn't give a crap that she's nothing but causing everyone else to do double the work. It's really hard to make you understand just how awful she is but I swear if I could punch someone in the face without getting in trouble she'd be my first pick. And I'm not a violent person lol
