How exciting, I think I will be moving down next week as well since I will be in my 3rd trimester, but we will see for sure! Hope so it makes it seem so much closer!

Yay! I never got those. I went from 4 weeks (32 then 36w) to every week.
Such an exciting time.

I've seen him every 3 since I found out I was pregnant at 8ish weeks...the 3 weeks between my last appt & this one seemed like foreeeeevveeeerrrrrr. I go to weekly at 36 weeks! Woo-hoo!

Woohoo! I'm 36 weeks and I'm down to weekly appointments. I feel better after seeing the doc for some reason. Gives me reassurance!

@banana I think that's why I'm getting to be such a head case--so paranoid!

@lydg: I'm paranoid too! I'm actually paranoid about my water breaking suddenly in a public place (like at work). So I feel better after my OB appt when they tell me that I'm not dilated yet. What are you most paranoid about?
papaya / 10560 posts
@banana everything! Well not really that bad, but I had a threatened miscarriage @ 8 weeks and settled down a lot but now that I am about 7 weeks away I am just so paranoid! I try running any errands in the am and I am so zapped for the rest of the day. Plus it makes me really paranoid given the amount of people who comment that I'll never make it to my due date because my belly is so big, blah blah blah.

@lydg: I hear ya! I think what makes me paranoid about my water breaking unexpectedly is that my water broke at 36 weeks when I was pregnant with my son and I'm not talking about trickles or water. It literally just gushed out where by the time I went to the hospital (45 minutes later) I was in full on labor..contractions and all. And that's what freaks me out!
And forget about what people say about your belly being so big and blah blah blah. I know plenty of moms who had big bellies and ended up going all the way up to their due dates. I had a small belly with my son and I only made it to 36 weeks so it's definitely not all about the belly size!

@banana that would definitely make me crazy!!! I have to force myself to get out of the house these days. Plus, I keep thinking even though I'm not due until 8/27, I could totally pop in a few weeks and that freaks me out too!!

@lydg: Good thing we're not hanging out in real life. We would probably drive each other nuts with our paranoid thoughts! hahaha! No, but seriously,...I'm nervous. Water breaking at the mall or supermarket? I die. My paranoia was so bad that I bought Depends underwear this weekend and I plan on wearing them to work starting next week. Is that too much???

@banana LOL!!! I am just dreading when school starts and I go back to work...which is worse, water breaking at store or in front of 30 middle school kids? HAHA!! I don't think the Depends idea is too bad...desperate times call for desperate measures!

@banana: I actually pray that if my water breaks on it's own it happens in public because I don't want the mess at my house. I keep thinking that if it happens in public neither of us will have to clean it up.
I'm down to 2 week appointments also. I had my first pelvic exam today and go back in 2 weeks when I'll be just shy of 38 weeks.
