I have quite a few of these on my list! I've decided not to care though I used to say I'd never choose a name in the top 100 but now I think its too limiting to avoid it if I really love a name.

@.twist.: L was our runner up name but G just so happen to flow better with middle and last name!

DS's name isn't on there and neither is his middle name. However, if we had a girl, her name is in the top 10!

@Mrs. Blue: he probably won't have to be! I only had one other person with my first name at my school and I was #3 in the late 80s. AKA lots of baby girls with my name

@Running Elley: I would have though your DS's son would have been higher too. I know a lot. I love it but it is our nephews name, so we can't ever use it.

Woohoo neither of my girls' names or my boy name that we like are in the top 100! Though I know that one of my girl names will grow in popularity bahh

I don't really care if the name is top 100 or top 10 or whatever. We just pick a name we love. DS's name is in top 100.

DD's name is nowhere near the top (I think it was in the 990s on the SSA list year).
I am glad to see that our beloved boy name (Owen) has dropped in popularity.

#30...I'm kind of surprised since I don't know many Dylan's, but I prefer popular names over unusual ones.

UGH, C's names dropped 3 more places.
Not happy, but we love her name so I'll deal. It's still outside the top 20 for our state.

DD's name is towards the very end of the list, but I have yet to meet anyone else in the area with a child of the same name.
Our choices for # 2 aren't on either list.

@MsLipGloss: Me too! You have me really curious now
I'm surprised to see some of the names on this list like Bailey, Kaelyn or Gianna on the girls side and Jayce and Bentley on the boys side.
Our picks for boys names are all in the top 100... oh well
