Changing a poopy diaper! No joke DD woke up at 11:50, I nursed her and DH said, let's just change her since we're up. She had pooped. We were counting down, gave a kiss and kept changing her. Definitely a departure from previous years!

Sleeping! This was our second NYE as parents and we've slept through midnight both times. My former self certainly would have thought that was lame, but now I'm just grateful for the sleep

I stood outside with DH holding some coal, bread and salt, then once Big Ben stopped chiming we went inside to watch the rest of the London fireworks display. Then I went to bed hoping that by next New Years there will at the very least be signs of us becoming a family of 3

@Danizaur: Same! I was sleeping and the neighbor's fireworks upset the dog, and it all woke me up. So, I waited from 11:50-12 for it to calm down and went back to sleep.

Drinking sparkling cider with the dog on my lap at SILs. DH and I didn't get our kiss in until about 10 minutes later!
