We're moving DD1 to a big bedroom and doing a combo bedroom/playroom.
What tips and ideas have worked out well in your playrooms? Anything to avoid?
We're thinking IKEA shelving/baskets, moving the play kitchen in there, maybe a teepee/tent.

We are doing the same thing. So for we got a trofast unit from Ikea and are planning on "quiet toys" that encourage creativity/imagination like Duplos and other building blocks. We want it to be a place he can go to play if he is overwhelmed and for quiet time since he is rarely taking naps anymore.
