I was 33-37 weeks for all the showers I had and I hated it. I was so big and uncomfortable, I wished they were earlier!

I'm going to a shower next week for a gal who is only 25!

29 weeks seems very reasonable.

I'll be just shy of 30 weeks at mine, it was the only date that really worked out. I think any time after 25 weeks would be the norm here.

I was only 26 weeks at my first shower which was in my hometown over Christmas!

I was 29 weeks and it was great. I was still super comfortable, not tired, and had tons of energy to wash, organize, and put things together afterwards.

I had mine at 37 weeks. It kinda stressed me out.

I did mine around 24 weeks due to travel and it was fine! I think that would work out really well for you based on your schedule.

Yes! Mine was at 35 and I feel it was too late - but like you, optimal time was near the holidays so it was hard to plan it. (I gave birth end of Feb.)

My cousin had hers today, and she's only 19 weeks. I thought that was a little odd.

I was around 29 weeks for mine. So glad I did it earlier! Later on I was so uncomfortable and swollen. Glad I look more like myself in the pictures. Towards the end my face got so swollen

That being said, I was put on bedrest 2 days later and delivered exactly 1 week after my shower, so maybe I was cutting it a little close! I'm sure 29 weeks will be great.

Absolutely! Then you have plenty of time to get everything you need that you didn't get for your shower.

I think that's good timing. Early enough to be somewhat comfortable and plenty of time to fill in any gaps of really necessary stuff.

Mine was when LO was a month old.

I'll be 29 weeks & 3 days when I have my shower. I wanted my earlier because of our nasty winters & so I have more time to prepare everything & get everything put away before the babies arrive. I'm glad I'm having mine earlier because I'm already starting to wear out pretty quick.
