I'm 32+1 and completely miserable. This pregnancy is so much worse than my last. Probably has something to do with chasing a toddler around.
I guess there is no reason for this post other than to ask others about their experiences. Did you go into labor earlier the second pregnancy? I was induced last time at 41 weeks. Hoping that isn't my fate this time, as well.

You have my sympathy! I felt the same way. I had my first spontaneously at 38 weeks, and was induced for pregnant induced hypertension with my second, also at 38 weeks. So my experience isn't helpful for you, unfortunately.
I hope things go quickly and that things get a little easier before your baby arrives!

Both times my water broke at 39 weeks exactly. Pregnancy is so much harder the 2nd time when you have one to chase after.

I was pregnant for longer. I had A at 41w4d. Her older sister was born at 40w3d. And my second pregnancy was so much worse. I'm sorry.

I was 4 days late with my first, super long labor.
2.5 weeks early with my second, easier labor! And easier baby! There is hope for you

Ugh yes! I'm 32+1 also, and I can't be on my feet after 7 pm. I'm having mad BH every single night, and the pelvic pressure is so uncomfortable. I pee every 20 minutes no exaggeration and every time I have to get up to pee, I feel like a beached whale trying to roll over. What is really getting to me is I'm most comfortable in my bed with my gigantic pregnancy pillow, but then I feel so isolated from DH and DS. I. Am. So. Over. It.
ETA: It is def worse the 2nd pregnancy. I didn't feel this over cooked with DS until around 38 weeks.

FWIW I had a sudden big improvement in comfort around 33 weeks with my second and it lasted almost a month before I hit that end of pregnancy hell. Fingers crossed you do too.

@schubr03: I had lo2 six days earlier than lo1 and had a way shorter labor (14 hours I think, compared to over 2 days.) But my second pregnancy was hard for other medical things I had going on and then of course having first kid. So worth it, but more difficult for sure! Toward the end I remember feeling sort of crappy physically but then my want to spend time with lo1 and sort of nesting helped me overcome the pain and what not. In any case you are down to single digit weeks before it is done!

My second pregnancy was much harder than my first, and in spite of threatening induction for hypertension from 36 weeks on, I ended up carrying my second until 40+5 (a week longer than my first who came at 39+5). That said, like @MrsSRS, I had a reprieve from about 34-38 weeks where for some reason my back pain let up a bit and I wasn't quite as uncomfortable. I hope the same happens for me this time. I'm 29 weeks now and my hip/SI pain is out of control!

I'm 34w4d with baby 2 and I can sympathize that this pregnancy is incredibly hard compared to the first time. I'm just so tired. I do feel a bit more comfortable today at 34 than I did at 28-32 for some reason. I was having horrible rib and back pain but it's a little better. I'm sorry mama! Hang in there.

I feel your pain. I'm almost 35 weeks with my third and it's SO much harder when you have kids running around.
That being said, my first made it to his scheduled c-sec. My second did not.....he came "early" at 38w6d.

I only have one, but I am another that was miserable with really bad back pain around weeks 24-32 and I was wondering how I was ever going to survive another 8 weeks, then it magically got way better again til about 38 weeks. Hopefully you will get a break soon!

I'm only 25 weeks but am so ready to be done. Huge and uncomfortable already and since we had a late loss last year have been pregnant for 44 weeks in the last year. So ready to be done. My first came at 38+4, my second at 38+3 (induced) and I'm hoping this one is 38 weeks as well. I know it's better to get to 39 weeks, but....see above....DONE!

Hugs, the second time around was so much harder than the first! My water broke with both at 39 weeks (I think technically I was one day earlier for LO2). So I didn't need to wait extra for LO2 to arrive.
Also, LO2 is a much easier baby all around, plus after the initial newborn/healing period was over, I have found having a 3 year old and a baby to be much easier than having a 3 year old and being super pregnant.

(Almost) 36 weeks and I totally hear you! I'm scheduled for 39 weeks 6 days for a repeat c-section and I'm secretly hoping she comes that weekend instead.

Liquid cal-mag (Country Life brand) REALLY helped me feel more comfortable in the 3rd trimester. It helped with sleep and general aches and discomfort. Best wishes!!
