Had my appointment today and I'm 1cm dilated and 1/2 thinned (whatever that means). How does this compare to your 37 week stats?

I had my baby at exactly 37 weeks.

I was 1.5 CM and 65-70% thinned/effaced at my 36 week appointment. Still pregnant....38 tomorrow.

I had basically the same stats at 37 weeks and I was induced at 41+1. Hopefully that's not the case for you!!

Nada at 39 weeks.

A "small 1cm" and not effaced at 40 weeks. Haha he didn't want to come out.

I was nowhere at 37 weeks! As my doctor said, I was shut tight haha! I got induced at 39 weeks.

I was 1cm, not effaced at 37 weeks. At 38 I was 1cm and 50% effaced. Went into labor at 40 weeks 3 days

Had my 37 week appt this morning - I'm 2 cm dialated, 80% effaced, and baby's head is super low. Doctor said he will be surprised if I make it to my due date - we'll see, though, I know that happens all the time!

I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced at 37 weeks and LO came at 40 weeks exactly on his due date.

I was 1cm at 37 weeks, 2cm at 38 weeks, and by 39 weeks I was 3cm, 80% effaced. I was induced at 40+1 at 4cm, 80%!

My first I was 2cm and 80% effaced ( thinned out) at 37 weeks. At 38 weeks was 4cm and 80%. Had him at 38 wks and 4 days my own.
My second I was 2cm and 80% at 36 weeks. The same at 37. Slightly more soft and effaced at 38 wks and 2 days, the day I was induced for IUGR.

I didn't get checked until 40 weeks, and when I did, I was already 5 cm dilated and still had to be induced.
So....dilation means nothing to me!
