Did anyone experience this lovely side effect, especially late in the third trimester? I'm 35 weeks and for the past few days I've felt icky... Very similar to my first trimester nausea, just an all day dull sickness.

I've had a little bit of nausea but not as bad as first tri. I've been insatiably hungry though and I've found I get a little queasy if I don't eat fairly often.

Yep, for me it was on and off from about 30 weeks until I delivered. The good thing was that it didn't seem as awful as the 1st trimester nausea for me.

Yeah, with my last pregnancy I was back on Zofran for much of the third trimester. I think it's pretty common. I agree with @rahlyrah: that it's important to eat often, and I found that high-protein snacks seemed to do a better job of quelling the nausea.

For me it was related to reflux. I had vomiting all over again

Yes; I was zofran free from weeks 30-34, then back on it again until the end of the pregnancy. I found that eating smaller meals and eating slowly seemed to help some; but at the end of the day I also just needed to take zofran every day. Yuck.

I'm thinking I need to try eating more frequently! Smaller meals to settle my stomach, like you all mentioned.

I had nausea come back a little this past week (I'm 29 weeks). I read that your progesterone levels go up again in the third tri and can bring back the oh-so-fun nausea. Plus the heartburn/acid reflux makes me nauseous too.

@Pepper: I've had it a little (I'm 32 weeks), but so far not as bad as the third tri. The type of nausea I have no in the 3rd tri is the type I imagine "normal" women have in the first tri....
I'll suddenly feel nauseous out of nowhere, it will last an hour or two, then it goes away and the rest of my day is okay.

Yes. I had to start taking my Zofran again.
