I feel insatiable! I actually got up at 3am to eat. My growling stomach woke me from a deep sleep.
What was your third trimester appetite like?

I've only gained weight in my third trimester. I've become a hog. We never have any leftovers in the house, cause I eat them all during the day. In the middle of the night I have to drink some milk to make my stomach happy until morning.
Didn't help that the baby dropped at 34 weeks, so I've since have had room in my stomach for whatever I want, and I'm hungry!

I'm on prednisone which makes you hungry anyway, but I've been starving ALL THE TIME. I can't go more than a couple hours without having something to eat!!! Weight gain this semester has been off the charts.

It suuuuucked. I was always thinking about food. It was exhausting!
Case in point: first trimester I lost 9 pounds. Third I gained it all back plus another 11.

I've had a few days of being super hungry but I think my appetite has decreased!

Probably every other night, i get up at 3am to use the restroom, go back to bed, and 5 minutes later get up to eat. RIDICULOUS.
what is it with 3am? I'm up at midnight and 3am, like clockwork.

Oh lord, you mean I still might be this starving next trimester? I'm gonna have to be rolled into the delivery room....

I'm about to enter third tri, and I feel hungry all the time! BUT if I eat too much, I feel super uncomfortable. So I have been trying to have more, smaller meals throughout the day. I definitely have to have some yogurt or cereal before bed or else I wake up hungry.

I was definitely hungry in my last trimester. In the week leading up to labor and delivery, I was so so hungry. Now that hunger is similar to how much I have to eat for breastfeeding.

Oh no. I'm terrified! I'm at 26 weeks now, already gained over 30 lbs, really don't want to gain too muuch more. But I am really hungry a lot - now you're telling me it's gonna get worse? Great!

@LazyLightning: When you start breastfeeding, you eat like a Hobbit. I'm convinced that breastfeeding is rooted in being a Hobbit. I just finished my second breakfast. I'm still hungry and will stuff my face with something else before I pump in an hour or so.

Lol thankfully at 28 weeks, despite eating like a lumberjack, I'm up 2 pounds total from pre-pregnancy weight.

I think I'm hungrier because I can't eat as much in one sitting.

I am in constant need of snacks. Hunger woke me up this morning at 5 am too.

I am snacking more. Woke up at 5 hungry but made myself go back to bed.

DH and I constantly joke about how I eat two breakfast, two lunches, and at least two dinners, except we're not joking at all. I just can't seem to get enough food!

I think this hit today. I had lunch out by myself after an appointment and I was still hungry after. I went and bought my second lunch!

I usually have a snack right before bed and am fine until morning, but during the day I eat constantly!!! I may have hit a turning point at 39 weeks, though--I'm just tired of eating and have lost a couple of pounds this week, which is VERY unusual!

It feels like I'm always eating, but I'm eating smaller meals as I seem to get full pretty fast these days where before I was eating pretty big meals and less snacking.
