@Alba4: I like to gift the crayola double sided easel. It comes with magnetic letters too. Its a great gift because its both fun and educational. my 4 year old loves it too

DD recently turned 4 and the hits were art supplies, dress up stuff and accessories, dolls (Disney princesses but look like barbies), extension kits for Magnatiles (already have 2 sets of starter kits)

Dress up, dolls, Play-doh, tea party! It's also around the time they graduate from Duplos to the normal sized Legos.
I second the Disney dolls - so much better than Barbie. They're much better dressed and can do the splits!
