@Foodnerd81: yeah my mom is 63 and in good health (except for some back issues) and when they watched LO for a long weekend, they were run ragged by the end. They needed a good week to recover. I can't even understand this. It seems like the pregnancy alone would be extremely risky for her health. It kind of seems like maybe she craves the publicity?? She made headlines with the last one too.

@travellingbee: @Foodnerd81: Oh 100% agree.... i would probably have my mother committed if she brought this up to me, now. I think there is way more to the story that what is being reported, whether its mental instability, medical research, celebrity/attention seeking behavior, etc.... I'm just trying to be optimistic and hope that someone is supporting her for the babies' sake because she is not invincible and even if she lives to see them into adulthood putting her at 83-84, she may not have the mental capacity to to make legal or medical decisions for them someone else may have to assume that role.

I am biased by personal experience. My 65 year old mom still snowmobiles, enjoys a Harley ride and camping in Alaska, while my 94 year old grandma is still mentally and physically in good shape to fly and live independently. This makes me unafraid for this woman and child's future. Some old people have great mental toughness and some families have such support that it is totally possible. I am also sensitive when judging outliers just because they are out of the norm. I've heard many average aged people say one of the reasons that they had another kid was because their little one wanted a sibling. Not sure that is the actual final deciding factor when it really comes down to it, for this lady or others, but it is a selfless sounding reason.
