I'm a little bored, and have baby names on the brain, so I thought I would post a just-for-fun poll for girl names.
Some of these are names that I've picked out, and some are DH's. Thoughts on any of them, good or bad? I enabled multiple votes in case you just couldn't decide

Personally I love Evelyn, nn Eve or Evie, the most. Very classic and beautiful. It's a great list overall though. I like Ellis, Amelia, Felicity and Thea the least.

I love pretty much all of your list! D nixed Ellis (he prefers the more traditional Alice), and Evelyn is now too close to Evan, but Amelia was on our very short, took to the hospital list, and I've always loved Tessa, Thea and Marlowe!

I voted for almost all of them lol but Ellis is on my list. DH says no....I'm going to ask him about Hollis but I'm sure he'll veto that too.

Oh, I also like Evelyn but feel that the name with the nickname Evie is becoming so popular and I tend to like names that are less common.

Marlowe seems awfully hipster and trendy to me, even though I love Philip Marlowe so I could be partial to the name.
Felicity reminds me of American Girl dolls and Hollis and Ellis sound more like boy names to me. The rest I like!

@yoursilverlining: For me, Marlo makes me think Marlo Thomas! Marlowe just seems to be a more popular spelling at the moment.

@Synchronicity: Actually, that's the one annoying thing about how we spelled DD's name with the "-we." Everyone spells it Marlo! We're kind of on a trend of giving our LO's last names as first names which was the main reason we went with the spelling we did.

@coopsmama: that's good to know! I go back and forth on which spelling I like better. Marlowe looks pretty, but Marlo appeals to my simple side.

I love Evelyn, but like @coopsmama: I think Evie is getting super common, which is why I took Evelyn off my list
As a girl with one of the most popular "you were born in the 80s, weren't you?" name/nickname combos, I prefer less common names. Don't get me wrong - I love my name and I think it fits my personality perfectly and I'd never change it, but more than once it's been yelled in a store/restaurant/at work and I've answered along with 5 other girls and it's none of us they're calling for!
Although I guess you never know bc my mom swears up and down that it blew up after I was born and the nurse at the hospital thought she made it up.

I have an Ellison (girl), so I voted for Ellis. If #2 was a girl, Evelyn was going to be her middle name (it's a family name). I've always loved Amelia but DH doesn't.
