I think I'm rolling over. My temp dropped down today and I had spotting yesterday. I always try to trick the system... Bundling up under the covers before I take my temp, labeling my light flow as spotting... Somehow it never works! See you ladies in January!

Well I am 12 DPO with a stark white BFN this morning. My period should be here sometime between tomorrow and Thursday, so I will probably wait until Thursday to test again if it hasn't come yet by then. I feel like I've been having weird symptoms, but who knows. Lots of heart palpitations at night and hours of insomnia, but that could just be related to work stress from an insane month at the job. Lots of emotional weepiness for no reason but that could be from not getting enough sleep due to aforementioned insomnia. Bigger boobs (whoo!) but that could be from eating too many Christmas cookies. Oh well, we'll see how the next few days go and I'll look on the bright side to all the skiing, drinking, and hot-tubbing to be done in January if it doesn't work out this cycle. Good luck to everyone testing this week, hope we get some more Christmas BFPs!

I got my beta results from this morning (15 dpo) and it was 51. My doctor didn't seemed concerned at all and wants to recheck Friday to make sure they're doubling.
I'm just not feeling optimistic. BUT with LO at 11dpo my beta was only 20 and doubled to exactly 40 by 13 dpo. So, I'm not too far off from that, and obviously that worked out well. Anyways, I'm going to do my best to just keep my mind off of it until Friday.

@littlek: it just feels low for 15 dpo. if you google betas for 15 dpo it looks like the average is 100+. but like i said they were "low" with lo, too.
and truth be told, i never felt optimistic during my pregnancy with him either.

@jmarionsmith: I wish I could pep you up, but I'm waiting on the call for my second betas and I'm not terribly calm myself! Someone directed me to betabase.info earlier this week. They show betas for successful pregnancies and the lowest at 15 dpo was a 2! Hoping for the best for you!

I am 7dpo and the progesterone symptoms are starting to get to me .... I know it's just the meds so trying not to let it raise hopes ...

@jmarionsmith: those seem good to me! Mine were 53 right around 14-15 DPO with this one. Sending many, many doubling thoughts your way! And I know you know this, but it's the doubling that counts, not the #. Hopeful for you!!

Sooo, I totally broke my no testing early rule. See, on 7 dpo, I was really feeling the poas bug, so I thought I'd go ahead because there was no chance it'd be positive and a negative wouldn't bother me, and then I wouldn't test again till Christmas at the earliest. I was right, the negative didn't bother me. Unfortunately, the no testing till Christmas didn't work out. I tested again yesterday (8dpo), and twice today (9dpo). Yes, I am ridiculous.
But! There is the faintest shadow of a shadow of a line on the one from this evening (not fmu, but there was a good long hold first, which is why I went for it anyway). Nothing even remotely photographable, and not even enough to really get my hopes up. But definitely saw it as soon as I looked (after the test had sat a little while but not too long) and enough to make me feel optimistic. I've just really felt good about this month since around 2-3 dpo, so I'm holding on to that positive feeling for now.

Just to put that in perspective, this is what I wrote in my blog about my last bfp- "So negative at 7dpo, and 8, and in the morning on 9. Then in the afternoon on 9, I committed the cardinal sin of looking at a test well past the 10 minute window. You can get evaporation lines and such after the test has sat out a while, so that’s a big no-no. But I did, and there was this SUPER faint line. Like, tilt your head exactly so and squint just right and then you could see it. So, like any sane person would do, I took another. ^_^ Same thing. Major squinter well after the window. So I felt a teensy bit hopeful but knew better than to take it seriously.
Next morning, I tested again. It looked negative, but when I got out of the shower there was a definite faint line. This was outside of the 10 minute window, but not by hours like the day before." I wound up with a positive on a digi that morning with smu. So... fingers crossed!

Thank you to everyone again. My doctor wrote up the lab slip and I did my blood test yesterday. I'm sure I won't hear anything until after Christmas so at least I have that to keep me distracted.

@jmarionsmith: Its all about the doubling. Hope they don't keep you waiting too long.
