@Torchwood: oh my gosh honey I am feeling so hopeful for you!!!! Sending you the biggest bucket of baby dust in the world. I found out I was pregnant with my son on December 26th (it was the 25th still in the states but we were in Thailand). My son was due September 2nd and born September 7th.

I got my second egg on my fertility monitor today. Thought about trying to seduce my hubs but I am so exhausted and we got in a stupid fight with him acting like a disrespectful jerk head so I decided to wait until we are full on TTC (this month we are kind of winging it. We dtd O-4 it looks like so i am pretty sure this cycle will be a wash. I'm hoping for a high tomorrow then a low the next day and a nice 11-14 day luteal phase before my next MP. Then I would imagine we will be DTD around Jan 20 and POAS somewhere around early Feb.

    Merry Christmas Bees!

@littlek: yeah it kind of brings out both the best and the worst of us. Sorry to hear you had a bit of that too.

@FaithFertility: I'm using the Clear Blue Easy and I gotta say I LOVE it. I bought one used on eBay two years ago expecting to use it to try and we got surprise knocked up on our honeymoon. I'm hoping it helps me this time because I'm nursing and since having my son my periods are a bit wonky. I try to temp but I keep losing my thermometer and I co sleep so I rarely sleep un interrupted and it messes with temps. The monitor has helped me to go above and beyond the usual OpKs which only track LH and give you less of a fertile window. We shall see how I fare.

Thanks so much to everyone for the positive thoughts, congratulations etc! I'm definitely excited! And thankfully the fears from previous losses are remaining at bay and it's just happiness here for now! @MrsMccarthy: My birthday is September 2nd! And looks like my edd should be right around the 7th. Lots of fingers crossed for you as well!

We're driving from TN to WV to go skiing, and we just got to the hotel for tonight, where we're sharing a room with my in-law's. The first thing I did when we got here was go poas. I just need another one to stare at so I can believe it's true! We have already told them, but I hid the cup and packaging and stuff anyway. They'll think I'm so weird for constantly testing. But that's why I buy wondfos! Anyway, the line is still light, but it's gotten clear enough to see the edges more exactly, and it's showing up faster. So big yays over here.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas! Sorry to those who got AF as their gift, but I'll be rooting for you soon when next month rolls around!

I've been feeling off lately, including a crazy weird pain on Xmas Eve that made my husband worried I had an ectopic, so he sent me to get a test (like you could diagnose it through a pregnancy test?!). It was negative, which made sense since I was a measly 8dpo. Nausea has been knocking me off my feet.

Yesterday, I thought I saw a faint line but DH couldn't see it.

Today, I tested and had DH read the test. He told me he sees a second line!! It's faint, but there.

Fingers crossed we've got ourselves a sticky baby!!!!

I think I need to find myself a little more support this month. I think I might be going crazy, my hormones are terribly unbalanced or I'm pregnant. Maybe all three. LOL. "Phantom" symptoms abound. And last night's seemed to be particularly convincing...I was looking in the mirror and DH confirmed that the veins on my BBs are so pronounced and visible. They were actually raised off my chest. So "real" if it's "fake," you know?

Do you ever feel like you're going nuts? How do you deal?

And did you have a lovely Christmas?

@Mrs. Jump Rope- Woohoo!! Fun Christmas present!!

I promise to stop with the updates and move on to the september board (I'll come back to cheer!), but I had to manage at least one picture. This is last night and this morning. I was really surprised how much darker today's was.

@lunarsongbird: How many dpo are you? While it's always possible to have fake symptoms from working yourself up, that sounds pretty real to me! Fingers crossed for you!

@lunarsongbird: FIngers crossed all those symptoms are for a good reason! When are you going to test?

@Torchwood: I'm so excited for you! There is no denying that line!

I'm 8dpo, but I'm not sure what to expect since this is my first cycle and I haven't done TOO much research yet. Is that too early to experience symptoms? I'm planning on testing on NYE, maybe earlier if our local cloth diapering store is open. They sell much cheaper pregnancy tests.

My head still tells me that I'm crazy, because it would literally feel like a miracle if we were pregnant- we only have a 1% chance of conceiving per the RE and it would be on our first try. Seems a little much. Either way- I told DH I would be happy if AF made it's arrival or not. If AF arrives- the phantoms will probably dissipate into the shadows. If I get a BFP? Well...holy geeze. That would be....remarkable beyond words.

@lunarsongbird: I know I've heard people talking about symptoms that early so fingers crossed although progesterone can be a right one for mind games! For what it's worth though, I try and avoid early testing now because it does no good, a BFN hurts but you still don't stop torturing yourself because there is always that 'what if it's just too early' thought! Af hurts but it also means CD1 and a fresh start. Would be lovely if it did happen first month for you after all that bad news you had.

@Snowdrop- I agree. I had a friend tell me today, who is also experiencing some infertility issues, "Those negative tests mess with your soul." I thought that was really insightful...like it transcends messing with your head and targets the very core of your existence. Sounds like dangerous energy. LOL.

But isn't it so hard not to test on a holiday? Who doesn't want to give someone a positive pee stick in celebration of a holiday? Hehe. Oh goodness.

I finally got my first peak day on my CBFM on Tuesday (CD25....) and a positive OPK at the same time. If I O'd on the 25th (like everything says I should have) then our timing was really good this month. However, it's all for naught if my LP isn't longer than a few days this time
Fingers crossed that it at least lengthens this month, to give us any hope for future months.

@MrsMccarthy: Meant to reply to the sapphire thing. My wedding ring has sapphires, and I'd like to get some sort of simple band with kid'(s) birthstones, so it's rather handy that it might match!
