@Mrs. J: Oh yeah! Duh! I totally didn't even think of that - despite explaining to DH just last week that we wouldn't know I ovulated until I saw a temp shift. I'm glad someone is on top of their game today since I'm obviously not!

@MissLace: Im sorry - people are so insensitive aren't they! We have been trying for baby #2 for coming up to 6 months now, DS was born a few weeks before Prince George & everyone has been commenting that I need to hurry up as they are having another one. I actually felt like smacking a co-worker yesterday who kept commenting I bet she is pregnant & isn't telling us!

@MissLace: I am so sorry. Having another to smile and be happy about a pregnancy announcement when you've been trying is hard enough, without the peanut gallery chiming in. Fingers crossed for December 16 being a great POAS day!

@kjpugs: I think you should wait!
I feel so dumb about charting right now because I have no clue if i even ovulated for this cycle!

You can roll me over. I'm officially out for December.
@mrscobee: Welcome!!!
@snickers: Exact same thing over here. DS was born days before George and my whole family keeps saying about getting on with #2. Umm, we've been getting on with it for 5 months now.

@kjpugs: In a similar boat. I'm CD 27 today, and I think I could be anywhere from 12-10 dpo at this point. I could test today. I could test tomorrow. Or I could wait...last two cycles have been 28 days, the two before that were 31 and then I had a 37 (!) and a 32. I'm trying to convince myself to wait it out because I know I can make myself crazy over a test that "could" (maybe? possibly? please?) be wrong or just wait for AF, who you really can't argue with!

@FairSeas: ughhhh exactly!!!!! Now I think AF is coming based on my back pain. I should test, that's a sure fire way to get AF to just arrive already!

@autumnlove: I found out I was pregnant with my son on December 26th 2011! I was 15DPO! Good luck! September babies are awesome sauce!

@mrs scrapbook: thank you! that makes so much sense now. I must have ovulated last week afterall even though I was CD30+. Which doesn't sound unusual since I previously had a really long cycle. I had other obvious signs like CM and feeling frisky. We only BD'd once since DH was out of town but I have my fingers crossed!

@mrscobee: you are not alone. I was naive too and thought it would happen much quicker this time around. Now I think we waited much too long to TTC for the second. My daughter was conceived after three cycles and now I am on cycle 6 TTC for my second. I know what you mean when it is hard when everyone around you seems to get pregnant on the first try.

Just wishing all the upcoming POAS-ers tons and tons of luck!

@kjpugs: isn't it ridiculous?! Every time I finally talk myself into POAS--AF is here before the stick dries. Hope your back gets better and no AF

@JennyG: I'm sorry about your BFN. Best wishes for your next cycle.
@MissLace: I'm sorry you had to go through that! We've only just started TTC but we've been getting that question a lot. It's been easy to just smile and say "soon" when we hadn't yet started, but now that we have, if it takes a while, I'm sure I'll feel just as frustrated. Hugs!
@jaguar: Gosh, I'm sorry.

Pretty sure I'm going to be out. Pink spotting today. Wish it was because of DTD yesterday but I feel like AF will be arriving. Ovia changed my POAS date to Thursday but I'm thinking AF will arrive by then. Womppppp.

Looks like my BFP wasn't a BFP after all, because I think I had a chemical pregnancy. I started spotting yesterday and bled last night pretty heavily. I took two digital tests and they said "Not Pregnant." After 11 months of trying, it is pretty devastating. Not sure where to go from here.

@mrsjd: I am so sorry to hear this update. Thinking of you.

@kjpugs: Boo! Sorry to hear about the spotting.
@mrsjd: I'm so sorry. I wish I had words to make you feel better. Have you called your doctor?

@mrsjd: oh no. I'm so sorry. That is so awful to go through I will be thinking of you.

@mrsjd: I had a chemical pregnancy the month before I got pregnant with my daughter. It just really sucks. So sorry you have to go through that. Hoping for comfort for you and some good news soon!

Thank you all for your kindness and supports. I cannot describe what it means to me. I'm hopeful at least that this means I'm ovulating and can actually get pregnant.
@JennyG:
I placed a call this morning. She's in clinicals this morning (it's a teaching hospital) and will call me back. I spoke with a nurse who asked if I wanted a blood test to confirm. I declined. Given the heavy bleeding (heavier than normal for me, not concerning) I am pretty sure I don't need confirmation. The original plan this cycle was to see if I got pregnant and if I did not, to start Clomid next cycle. We might go that route. Not sure yet what I want to do.

@mrsjd: I felt the same with my CP last month. They asked if I wanted to come in and I didn't really see the point. It's good to know you have a plan for going forward. Big hugs to you. I know this sucks.

@jennyg: Thanks for the welcome! Sorry about your BFN
@pinkcrayon: Thanks for the support. It means a lot!
@mrsjd: So very sorry. Can imagine how disappointing this is. Hugs to you!

@mrscobee: Good luck! Believe me you are not alone! We are coming up to 6months trying for baby#2. Hopefully it happens for you soon x
@pinkcrayon: Sorry I meant to reply to you yesterday! Before having my DS I had a history of very irregular cycles. Sometimes it was up to 49days! I tracked my cycles for a good 3 months before ttc for DS and we were lucky it happened the 1st month of trying.
As others have said temping is really good. It took awhile to find out if I had O'd or not, and like you I was wasting so many OPK's. I used fertility friend and that really helped. Are you using Ovia? That looks fantastic I think I might sign up to that.
After stopping breast feeding DS my cycle is now regular and back to 28 days! But what do you know, I can't seem to get pregnant! So annoying!
