My first time posting on one of these threads! I feel like that makes trying seem much more real.
Cycle Day: 19
TTC Cycle #: I'll say 2, since I've sort of been charting but we've mostly been NTNT since the end of August
Ovulation and POAS dates: I'm new at this and not doing temps or OPKs (just using an app) but the app projected it as the 5th. I think POAS date would be 12/20.
Baby #: 1!
Your plan this month: Go with the flow and try not to worry too much.
And just for fun... what's on your holiday wish list this year (besides a BFP)?
Hmm...some new workout clothes!

I'm out. AF showed up just before my 2:30 meeting. I'm worried we waited too long to try for #2. Our tests show nothing wrong, other than "you're old" in the lovely words of my OB, so time to start interventions.
On to cycle 21. I just don't have the emotional or physical energy to be positive today. C has croup, my mom is having life altering surgery tomorrow, and AF showed up today. I need some wine to go with my whine.
Bah humbug.

@ballerinabee: Sorry to hear AF showed up. I hear you on the whole worrying about waiting too long thing. I worry that I have waited too long on TTC #1... So easy to have regrets no matter how old / young one is, that is for sure. I am currently struggling hard core with the woulda, shoulda, coulda... Sending positive thoughts your way for your mom's surgery.

@ballerinabee: I'm sorry. It sounds like a rough day all around - definitely one that calls for wine. Your mom will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

Question for mamas who use Wondfo ovulation test and pregnancy tests, I know for pregnancy ones I use FMU but what about ovulation?
apricot / 375 posts
@SunnyFarmMama: I test in the afternoon. I try to hold for four hours and not drink you much, but discovered this cycle that I will get a positive even when it's extremely diluted (was testing for a second day of positive and didn't hold and drank a lot of liquids...it was still blazing!)
I have, when getting close and nervous about missing the positive, tested both morning and afternoon. But I've alway caught my surge in the afternoons.

@mrs scrapbook: thank you! I'm gonna try out a test in a few minutes just to see because my apps say my "flowers are Blooming" haha!

@SunnyFarmMama: hahaha that may be my favorite phrasing ever!!! Good luck with the opk!

No positive, and no AF yet. Just a watching and waiting game now. Like watching paint dry.

@snickers: thanks for your reply! It is comforting to hear from people with same experience. Yes, just downloaded Ovia and I think it will be super helpful!

@ballerinabee: i am sorry to hear AF showed up. I have been reading your posts as i am also TTC'ing for #2 and am having serious regrets about waiting so long to start. Hope things get better and all goes well with your mom tomorrow.

Alright ladies, we need some BFPs. Good luck to anyone testing today!!

Anyone up for some chart interpretation? I generally ovulate the day after my first positive OPK (usually get 2 days of +) but according to my temps it looks like I O'd CD23. When I change the override settings it bounces between saying I O'd that day and the 21st although I can usually feel O and I had a super strong tugging feeling on th day of my temp spike and also some twingy pains the day of the 2nd +OPK. Anyone actually ovulate 4 days after the first positive opk? I know your body can hear up to, not O and gear up again but I never got a second LH surge and I've been testing twice a day. Any thoughts?

I've done okay holding off on testing the past few days...but I really really want to test. I'm only 8dpo though, so that doesn't really make sense!
And, I am running super super low on my Wondfo stash, so I'm trying to conserve them!
Okay, just needed to get that off my chest!

@MissLace: Is it possible that the lower temp from CD23 is off? Was the room much colder than usual or anything like that?
apricot / 311 posts
@mrs scrapbook: I don't think so, it should be pretty accurate. Either way we got 2 days of BD in there for either day so hopefully that's enough!
PS good job on holding off testing! 8dpo is always when I break and POAS.

I'm in the same boat as @fairseas -- no positives but no menstruation. Waiting is harrrrrrrrrrrrrd. Blasted long cycles!

@MissLace: 2 days is good!!! Fingers crossed for you
If I had more wondfos I'd have definitely POAS by now. But I only have 4 left!

Today was the POAS day I set for myself but last night when I went to the bathroom before bed there was a trickle of bright red blood so I thought I was out. However this morning there was nothing on the TP and only a little really dark blood upon inspection. Could this be implantation bleeding? I still think I O'd last week. I only have one test left and already had FMU so I will see how today goes and maybe test tomorrow. Good luck to everyone waiting!

I get my progesterone tested a few days after each ovulation and for the last three cycles it has been ~11. This time it's 25.62 and the nurse said that they like to see between 15-20 to indicate pregnancy. Has anyone ever had experience with this?? I'm 8 DPO and was planning on waiting until at least next Sunday or Monday to POAS.

@NorthStar: I would totally be testing if I was you, but I have about 0 willpower so I'm not the best judge. Fingers crossed for you!!

@JennyG: LOL! Thanks! Yeah, I'm super excited now and not sure if I'll be able to hold out that long I'll try to wait until at least Saturday, though..

@mrsjd: so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you!

@ballerinabee: I'm so sorry about AF. I hope your mom's surgery today goes smoothly. Hugs.

@mrsjd: so sorry to hear this.
Pretty sure I will be out...started spotting this morning, even though I am only 11dpo. But maybe this first AF post m/c is just a weird one/maybe the timing is just going to be off? Anyway, I am now worried because if AF is early, and I O early this next cycle, DH and I might not be together during the optimal times...sigh. Frustrating!
Thinking good thoughts for everyone testing in the next few days!

I spoke with my doctor - we're going to start Clomid in January - which will be exactly a year from when we starting TTC. As for December, I'm just going to relax and not worry about TTC. I plan to get wine drunk this weekend and have non-baby making sex with my hot and sweet husband.
As for the rest of it - I want to be a cheerleader for everyone still waiting. I genuinely hope this is your month.

@ballerinabee: So sorry about AF
@mrs scrapbook: Hold off a little longer! You have great willpower! I totally used my Wondfo stash as an excuse to test crazy early, and I know I wasted some tests this cycle. I kick myself every time, but never learn.
@NorthStar: FX for you! Those numbers sound great!
@hilsy85: Maybe you can chalk it up to the first AF post m/c? I spotted from 7 to 12 dpo before getting AF this month, which has never happened before. I honestly think my body wasn't ready, which I knew might be the case post m/c. Hopefully the timing will work out next cycle for both of us!
@mrsjd: Thinking of you!

@Chaosmaven: Thanks! I'm usually not so will powerful. That's why my stash is almost out.
