So, I'm 9dpo and have been having some intense symptoms. I kept trying to brush it off, but being that this is not my first time at this rodeo, it just felt too similar to the first few weeks of my pregnancy with LO #1. I caved and POAS this morning and well, I am shocked that lightening CAN strike twice (first cycle, both times)!! What are the chances?!?! Will confirm with a digi/FRER on my actual POAS date, but for now, am feeling cautiously optimistic and overwhelmingly grateful

I have another OPK question. The last two days, I've had definite positives. This morning my test looked like this. I *think* the line looks lighter than the control line and should be considered negative, but I'm not sure. What do you think? I'm still getting used to reading these. (First timer!) Thank you!

@MrsMccarthy: Since it was definitely positive yesterday and the day before, I'm thinking this is now on the other side of positive, and my levels are going down... I think my O date might be today so that could make sense. We BD'd for the last two nights and plan to tonight so hopefully we're covered!

@mrs.gm: I would call that a negative. I also get positives for two days, and then the negatives look like that and get lighter. But I would still BD tonight if you can, just to cover all your bases!

This may sound crazy or weird but I seen a black snake in front of our door this morning which DH killed but for some reason Im hoping its a sign for this cycle because with both of my pregnancies (first one was a mc) I seen a black snake in front of the door before I got my bfp so I'm hope the same happens this month!

I'm out. Looks like AF is starting this evening. One question, normally AF starts in the am for me...in this case, does this count as cycle day 1 or does tomorrow? I know on the monitor it counts tomorrow as day 1, so I'm assuming that is the case in general. Any ideas? Hoping my monitor will work better next month and give me a peak day or two instead of a zillion high days. I'm using opks too and temping. Was thinking I'd skip next month because of the logistics of traveling for AI right before Xmas, but it will be a full week before, and I hate to miss a month! Thinking of looking into an iui next month if possible, to up our chances.

@2farmmoms: For all our infertility treatments, CD1 was if AF arrived in full flow before midday. After midday, and CD1 was the following morning. x
