@Snowdrop: LOL. I'm also silly and brought in some of christmas lenox plates to eat on and they dropped too. I'm SO glad they didn't break. I'm lucky!!
@LindsayInNY: OOooh...Did you see any of the rose bowl floats?

@HolisticMama: We did! We caught a bit of the parade before the game and watched the rest on TV. It was a ton of fun and I loved the area!!
@MrsMcD: I think you might like him more than you do me! I kid

@Crystal: Yes, I am! I will likely never live in any place other than where I am right now!

@MrsMcD: I'd like to live in a place other than where I currently am, but I would never want to leave SoCal!

@MrsMccarthy: That's rough. I want a big yard, but I'd rather be in a neighborhood that is an easy walk to a center of commerce (at least a grocery store, place to eat, etc.). My husband would rather live way out on tons of land. Our compromise is at least 2 acres in a neighborhood. I doubt it'll be walkable to much, but I'll live.
@littleK: Fantastic news!!!

@littlek: well my husband HATES and refuses the suburbs. What he wants is country living. I would be find with the burbs. What scares me is a place on the hill down a dirt road with no acres between each living soul. That's his dream.
@Crystal: sorry you are in the same boat.
I've been singing him my own version of Green Acres theme since he started this malarkey.

@MrsMccarthy: LOL @ Green Acres
I am seriously dying over here about my TOM being late. I know its perfectly normal for it to be late, but its making me hopeful I'm KU because TOM symptoms aren't even appearing.
I'll test on Friday (Day 39) if TOM hasn't made its appearance by then.

@Crystal: hugs. I know how frustrating it is to wait for your first AF...It took me 7 weeks and 1 day to get mine back. It will happen and you'll be back in the tww before you know it
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@Crystal: FX for you (and not going lie, took me awhile to figure out who TOM was )
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@HolisticMama: ME TOOOOOOOOOOOO, lol. Its not very likely, but still hard not to get my hopes up.
@bushelandapeck: Ugh!! 7 WEEKS?!
I'm being a drama queen, lol. Its amazing how long a week can feel when you are TTC.
Does anyone else feel like you are constantly in a hurry up to wait mode?
pomelo / 5720 posts
@Crystal: it was a lot longer than most people I know. Not sure what happened. I took one test the week before I got AF and was excited to see a since that meant my body was probably almost back to normal. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you get your BFP soon!
@runnerd: I still don't know what the letters mean. Please enlighten me

@littlek: hopeful that you do have good news!

@however briefly: I'm sorry Both my and DH's parents had some trouble conceiving, so fortunately they seem to understand that it's not something we care to discuss unless we're the ones to bring it up. Could you just tell them that it's obviously something that's difficult for you, and that while you appreciate everyone's concern you'd prefer to just not discuss it until you have news to share - and when that happens, you'll let them know? You tell your family and your DH can tell his?
@Eko: I'm not in my 2WW yet, but last month was just like that for me! I had heartburn (I've NEVER had that outside of pregnancy,) dark brown spotting about a week after ovulation, some nausea...and then, to top it all off, my period came over a week late. I thought I was going to lose my damn mind!
@LindsayInNY: *insert snarky MSU remark here* I went to U of M, so you know I can't just walk away from a 'Go Green!' post without saying something, haha!

Almost forgot, but I have what may be a slightly TMI question about temping, which I just started doing this month. I've been taking my temp internally. Right now I'm still on my period, so when I wake up I generally go into the bathroom, remove my tampon, and take my temp. Am I screwing things up by moving my body around to do that before taking my temperature? The bathroom is attached to our bedroom, so I'm only taking about 10 steps, but for some reason I just wasn't sure if temping with the tampon in was possible or a good idea.

@wonderstruck: yes you are! You are not supposed to speak drink water or move if you can help it.

@wonderstruck: do you have to track all month long? Maybe you can skip during your period? I can't imagine having to do that while bleeding.
pear / 1846 posts
@wonderstruck: lots of people dont bother during AF. So maybe just take a break till its over- less hassle.

Girls, I'm so confused. My temps are down even more today and FF put my crosshairs back up! WTF??? Can someone explain to me what FF thinks is going on?? Does it think AF is already on its way 5 DPO??
grapefruit / 4649 posts
Between early spotting and weird ovulation like pains no where near ovulation I called my doctor yesterday to see if I should keep waiting for that six month mark or come on sooner. She called me back within fifteen minutes which was great but she said she wanted to look into endometriosis after I told her what was going on and she looked over some past issues. Because of those past issues I knew I wasn't likely to have an easy time of TTC but really this makes me just hate my reproductive system.
Has anyone else dealt with endometriosis? Any idea what to expect?

@Cole: I'm sorry you are going through this but glad your doctor is so responsive. Big hugs that everything is okay.

@Adira: It's hard to tell without any other factors (CM or OPKs), but I think you either O'ed on CD17 or haven't yet... Also (and I know I said this the other day, so I am sorry for repeating myself), but I don't think you can trust temping alone as long as you are BFing...
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Cole: Me, me! I just posted my whole, loooonnnnng story on the "laparscopy" thread if you want to check it out: http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/laparoscopy
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@septca: CD 17 would've been my guess too - that's when I used to ovulate pre-baby! I'm not sure why FF thinks I did on CD 19. But you're right - I totally can't rely on temps for this! I had no idea breastfeeding would affect the temps so much!!! But thanks for taking a look.
pear / 1846 posts
@Adira: did you track CM. I had a look at your chart and my guess would be no ovulation but I have no experience of BF temps.
I'm on CD 8 and just got a bit of EWCM! The earliest I've O'd before is CD16 and the latest CD24. Could this be the B6 and the vitex working already?? I'm hoping I might get a good 5 days of fertile CM and stock pile those swimmers!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Adira: I just took a look at your chart and I'm no expert, but your temps are all over the place, so I don't see any pattern that shows O. I agree with @Snowdrop to track your CM or use OPKs.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Snowdrop: Does B6 shorten the time til you ovulate? I thought it just made your cycle longer, though I admit I am no expert!
pear / 1846 posts
@Crystal: my problem is high prolactin, everything else is probably just a symptom of that so for me it could. B6 is a dopamine agonist and dopamine blocks the production of prolactin so if it is working and therefor reducing prolactin levels back to normal my O wouldn't be delayed by prolactin anymore. I remember being annoyed when I was 16/17 getting AF every 21 days (one of the reasons I went on BC) so maybe I am going to revert back to that.
