@Aria: I don't POAS so I'm overly biased to see everyone else do it! LOL! POAS! POAS! :: clap clap ::
Are you officially TTC soon? Do you have any other LOs?
It really could be either- late AF or a BFP in your future.
Have you taken a pregnancy test yet?

@Aria: I'm afraid the only way to know is to take a hpt or to see if your temps stay up for 18 days in a row. What dpo are you? If you were actively preventing, were you using condoms?
persimmon / 1121 posts
@HolisticMama: We were going to officially start TTC with the start of my new cycle, but it hasn't come yet. I don't have any LOs. I want to POAS, but I ordered some the other day and the don't come until Friday.
@Snowdrop: I thought I was 16dpo, but my temps went wonky and now I'm not sure. Yes we were using condoms, but we may not have been as careful as we usually are, which is the only reason I'm even debating this.

@HolisticMama: lol!
@Mrs.Panda: what's your degree in? Good luck with school!
I'm officially a roll over- TOM started today. It. Is. Awful. It's never been like this before.
But, I'm happy it's here! And i am ordering OPKs, so I can use those next month. New POAS date is Feb 5! (Assuming this next cycle so normal)

@Crystal: Ugh. I'm so sorry that this cycle is bad. What's it doing? My TOM was heavier then it ever has been this cycle. I swear- I think TTC just changes things in the body. It's bizarre. I used an herbal heating pad for AF this month.

I just realized I never joined the group this month...Apparently I still have baby brain from the first baby?
So here my tale for all of you. Yesterday, I took a pregnancy test (and internet cheapie accu test something or other ) and got a positive but it had a weird skinny line. I took another one right away with the same urine and it was sorta there but not as dark. Freaking out I took a digital and got a negative.
I figured maybe it was just early ( I am not due until Saturday ) and figured I would try again this morning.
So I got up early and got another positive, very quickly this morning again with the weird skinny line.
I figured what are the chances of getting a negative and two positives right? So I hauled husband out of bed and had him take one. Positive again, lighter then mine and still skinny...
So I am assuming they were bad tests? I took one earlier, way before it could be positive and it was a clear negative though so its really odd.
So now I really have NO clue if I am or I am not! Maybe my husband is? Hehe!
I bought some FRER for tomorrow but am thinking maybe I will just wait until Saturday to see if AF shows up...I don't want to see any more negatives

@Crystal: Mine AF have been just AWFUL since we started ttc number 2...I have no idea why that happens but man is it awful.
My fingers are crossed for you next month Good luck with the OPKs!

@septca: I am right there with you! IT SUCKS!!! Here's hoping we don't have to wait much longer.
I am starting to wonder if an only child is okay with me
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@HolisticMama: it's super heavy, and I had no warning symptoms. Now I am getting stomach cramps when usually I get back cramps. Ugh.
@littlek: that's for the sympathy! Boo to TOM.
@Mrs. Tea: sounds like the tests might be bad... I would wait and test with a digital in a few days.
For some reason, I feel that digitals take a higher concentration of hCG then the cheapies.

@Mrs. Tea: whoa!! I hope that the FRERs bring amazing results in the morning!

Here are the positive tests.
My two are at the top ( the darker one with this morning) and the one my husband took is at the bottom.
Uh seriously! False positives are just mean!

@Mrs. Tea: how awful....but hopeful that your FRED will bring a BFP :))

@Mrs. Tea: will do! It seems that there has been a lot of good news among the bloggers lately, so I'm hopeful that you're next!

@Aria: welcome and good luck to you!
@Mrs. Tea: what a PITA! Those look different than most evaps I am used to seeing. Fx for you.
@Crystal: sorry you are having a miserable cycle but I'm happy that you can finally get on with things. Less than a month from now I hope that we are celebrating your big fat positive!
I am having the weirdest pain in my lady parts that's kind of radiating down to my booty. It's sort of sharp but not excruciating and intermittent. I have also ben having strange bouts of nausea that feel like motion sickness but only last a second. Anyone have any experience with this? I am on CD7 and I took a pregnancy test two days ago just in case so no I am not pregnant.
blogger / apricot / 424 posts
@MrsMccarthy: hmm maybe early signs of ovulation? If you didn't have the strange pains I would say you might have the beginning of that weird stomach flu that has been going around.
Hope you feel better soon!

Looks like I'm out again for this month - 3rd cycle (2nd cycle with OPKs and timed BD). Negative test this morning and the start of AF cramps tonight, right on schedule. I know it's only the third cycle, but it's still hard to not be discouraged...
blogger / apricot / 424 posts
@littlek: honestly I'm not sure. Part of my wants to know and the other part of me wants to just wait to see if AF arrives on Saturday so I can avoid a negative if it's coming
blogger / apricot / 424 posts
@sapphire: I am on cycle 3 too. I don't do well when I can't control things
Hope cycle 4 brings your bfp for you. For now have a big glass of wine ?! That usually helps me feel better

@Mrs. Tea: Argh. Those tests drove me crazy last cycle. So I vowed not to take them anymore for my sanity. I would SQQQUUINNNT to see that little line, which was just an evap line. Ugh. But those aren't even squinters. Those lines are absolutely there. Could your husband possibly be pregnant?
@sapphire: I am right there with you. I wonder if the "middle" of TTC is easier. In the beginning- you are just so hopeful and optimistic. At the end if there is a BFN...you might have come to expect it. But the middle? Who knows. LOL.
Every journey is different. I tell myself that often. Every cycle is different. Every month is different. Every month is new. And different.
nectarine / 2173 posts
@HolisticMama: You're right - at the beginning, you don't know whether to expect that it's going to take a while or if it will happen quickly! I definitely hoped since we were timing BD that it would be quickly
@Mrs. Tea: thanks for the encouragement. I think we'll go out for dinner tonight (hubby should be home any minute) and that should help.
Part of what is making it extra hard this month is that I'm a medical resident and currently on an OB month - my first since TTC. I am literally surrounding by pregnant ladies ALL DAY LONG! Which is fun, but dear god, way to remind me that I'm not pregnant yet...On the plus side, I delivered my first set of twins this week which was so much fun!

@Mrs. Tea: not to freak you out but a man can get a positive HPT

@sapphire: I'm sorry.. :(. But that is sooo cool you delivered twins!

@littlek: oh good gracious... Well now I am hoping for faulty tests.
blogger / apricot / 424 posts
@littlek: yes! I made him inspect just a second ago! Poor guy ,first I make him take a pregnancy test and now this. He says all is normal that he can tell which is a relief. If I end up being pregnant I think I will have him go to the dr though.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Mrs. Tea: there's no real reason to wait for a digital... Can you grab a frer and test in the morning?
blogger / apricot / 424 posts
@Crystal: I bought two today, I am just assuming it will negative so I am wondering if I should wait and save money ( and my sanity ha ha! )
pomelo / 5820 posts
@Mrs. Tea: maybe it's just my phone, but it looks like your test lines have color... and your husband's doesn't. Maybe his is just an evap? Fx!
blogger / apricot / 424 posts
@Crystal: oh I probably will! 6am will come tomorrow and I will have to know right that second lol!
blogger / apricot / 424 posts
@Pepper: it's hard to tell because they are so skinny and faint. I wondered the same thing... It showed up fast though which makes me think it's more likely a test error. Mine look more pink/ purple then his since they have dried though for sure
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Mrs. Tea: good lord I hope it's not that! I also hope it's not a bladder infection. I used to get them all the time and I have had to pee more often. I'm sure a UTI doesn't = BFP.
@sapphire: I'm sorry darling, I don't have personal experience but I've heard that the third cycle is when it starts to really get frustrating and that by the 6th things start to feel bleak so I agree with Holistic that sometimes it's hardest in the beginning because you feel like your starting to enter a new phase after believing you would most likely be done by then. I totally irrationally will have freak outs I'm sure if it gets to that point to. It's not rational but it's hard not to become nervous and impatient.
