I know that we all have differing views on abortion, but I came across this recent article / essay and thought it was really compelling.

We live in a time when genetic testing and ultrasounds are available, but it seems like everyone says "I am just getting the test because I want to be prepared" or "I wouldn't do anything differently." But that's not true for all of us. Some of us want to have the choice. And that choice is being threatened. The abortion debate will rage on, but it seems that this particular perspective / scenario to be one that isn't widely discussed.
There was a video a few years back here in the Boston area of protestors screaming at a woman going to a clinic and her husband finally lost it on them and explained that they wanted the baby but the baby had died (or would die? I can't remember). It always stuck with me. There are no bright line rules in life, at least not for me.
