LO was insane in the womb. She is insane out of the womb. People keep saying to us, "Just wait until you have a boy." Frankly, LO is way more active than the many, many baby/toddler boys we know. I'm going to up our insurance policy should we have a boy...

L was a pretty calm baby inside, and very calm outside. This baby moves even less, so I'm interested to see if the trend continues

D was a SERIOUS mover inside - constantly kicking, stretching, and shifting position. The nurses had a hard time getting his heart rate whenever I had to be monitored because he was always moving around so much. And the ultrasound tech had a hard time getting measurements. On the outside, though, he's super low-key. And he sleeps fantastically.

DS was a partier in the womb, but fairly low key on the outside. While he's always moving and exploring, but he isn't hyperactive and is fairly calm about it...if that makes sense. He's 15m and hasn't had a tantrum yet (knock on wood), if that's an indication of anything.

Chloe was a hardcore partier. She kicked so often and so hard that it would wake me up from a deep sleep. She's a mover and a shaker in real life. This kid never sits still and by never, I mean she rolled over when she was two days old. It's been "downhill" from there.

So far, this baby is the same way. I'm curious to see if she'll be chloe2.0!

I had the wildest baby in the womb and the wildest baby outside the womb! Kid was rolling around her crib the night she was born! (Not onto her tummy but legs in the air to use momentum to turn on side and move around hospital bassinet.) She is wild!

My LO isn't born yet but she moves A LOT. She's almost constantly moving!

This baby moved CONSTANTLY in utero, even though I couldn't always feel it (anterior placenta). Every time we had an u/s or I was on the monitors, though, the doctors and techs would constantly remark about how active she was, how awesome she looked. etc. She came out ready to GO. She has ridiculous head control for someone not yet three weeks old, and she moves constantly. I have a feeling that we will be babyproofing earlier than I anticipated!

I think I felt a lot because she was so big!

But she's not a sleeper, she's a pretty active kid!

This kid can't sit still! The ultrasound technician said at our 20 week scan that we had an active baby on our hands, and she's right!

It held true for me. In the womb baby was always moving. Outside the womb baby is always moving or wanting us to keep moving while we carry her.

my first was very calm in the womb. it could partly be because of my anterior placenta. but she's also very calm outside the womb! this one is a little more active, i'm still hoping this one is calm outside!

@BakerBee: Got to be ready for football season! LO's cheerleader outfit is already hanging in her closet

E wasn't break-me-off-some-rib active, but just pretty constantly moving. And that's how she is now... wanting to be mobile early, not INSANE but just always moving/into something. I bet there is correlation!

@ShootingStar: Same here. Hiccups galore, both serving time and on the outside. But they don't seem to bother her at all, so that's good!

@BakerBee: MY LO was a baby Rockette in the womb, and out here she's a kick-kick-kicker all the time. However, she's also very mellow/low key and not needy, just a wiggle worm.

My first (a boy) was a party baby... seriously every night from 10pm til 5am it was party time. I was nocturnal. But he was not active much at all, especially for a boy. He didn't crawl until past 9 months and he didn't walk til 15 months. He was always happy to chill in the stroller but did not like to be worn.

My second (a girl) didn't move much and she is crazy active. She doesn't like to be strapped into anything and she is constantly climbing and rolling over things. She has NEVER seriously bumped her head once. She is like a tank of muscle and is seriously coordinated. When she falls, she keeps her head up and rolls to her side. I think she may end up being the first girl in the NFL.
