Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some advice on what i should do. Due to our circumstances, our 8 month old's crib is in our bedroom. She used to be a great sleeper which has recently changed unfortunately. She has no problems sleeping in her crib initially, but she has been waking up frequently in the middle of the night.
At first I just let her cry it out and in a few minutes she would fall asleep again. But ever since she learned how to pull herself up to stand, she has been standing up in her crib and sees us in our bed and just keeps crying. I've been trying to lay her back down and patting her back which works but then 30 min later she starts crying and getting up again. This keeps repeating over and over.

A few times I took her into our bed and of course she slept great until morning. DH is not too happy about this because he thinks she'll develop a bad habit of needing to sleep in our bed but at the same time, I doubt want to keep hearing her cry and not getting any sleep myself. I guess cry it out is more difficult in our situation because she's in the same room as us and now sees us when she stands up in her crib.

Anyone else sleep in the same room as LO and had similar issues? Should i just take her into our bed so i can get a good night's sleep or am I creating a bad habit that will be more difficult to break later. Btw we will be moving when she's 18 months so she'll have her own room then....

TIA
