our neighbor has a cleaning service, so we scheduled our air duct cleaning and carpet cleaning for next wknd. he's giving us a deal so i think it's worth it overall, but have any of you done an air duct cleaning? could you tell the diff in air quality or heat/ac quality?

we had our ducts cleaned! couldn't tell a difference, but feels good knowing they're clean!

We had a groupon to get the ducts cleaned so we did it a couple months before LO was born. The guy that came said he could tell our ducts hadn't been cleaned in many years (we moved in 3 years ago)! We did notice a difference in our bedroom - the AC worked a little better than normal this past summer.

i couldn't tell the difference, but i felt better when i saw all the crap that came out. they recommend that you do it once every two or three years, unless you do major renovations (in that case i'd do it right afterwards).

We had it done just before we moved into our house because the previous owner had cats and I'm allergic. The ducts must be clean now because every time DH goes to change the filters there's nothing on them!

My husband does carpet and air duct cleaning. Its amazing the dirt that comes out. I love that he comes and does our carpets all the time!

we had ours done a few months after our son was born. we couldn't tell a difference but our ac sounded different (quieter) so we knew it did something.

We don't clean our air ducts but we replace our filters often!
