I prefer window because I can lean against it when I sleep, don't have to worry about the cart smacking me and don't need to get up if people need to go to the bathroom. The worst is when I have to bother the aisle person when I leave my seat. Which do you prefer?

Aisle, but when LO was younger i preferred window so i can nurse without feeling self-conscious. However, I am the master of walking over an aisle passenger without waking him/her up.
A nearby passenger once witnessed my feat and gave me a thumbs up.

I definitely used to prefer window but with a LO I now prefer aisle. Just... Easier.

Window! For nursing, so LO can see, no cart smashing. But now usually my toddler gets the window and then I am stuck in the middle. Boo!

I liked the aisle because I don't like being pinned in. The worst is when you are in the dead middle of a row of 5 on an international flight. Awful.

Window, when I fly alone! DH likes the aisle. So when we fly, I usually choose the middle, so I can lean on the DH to sleep and still see out the window for take off. I love watching take offs and landings.

Oops! I clicked the wrong one on the poll! Aisle always. I always have to go to the restroom. And now with LO, we always have to get up and walk around.

window! I love looking at the cities during take off and landing! My favorite spot is the window and the first isle after a section separator. Where you have no one in front of you and you can stretch your feet out. Love.

I have always preferred the aisle. I hate asking people to move if I need to get up!

Aisle! I always have to get up to pee. And it just seems like now that planes are getting smaller and people (in general) are getting larger, space is extra tight in the middle/window.

Window bc I have a TON of anxiety and need to be able to look out! I also like to be able to lean on the wall to sleep.

Long flights, aisle so I can pee without bothering people. Short flights where I won't have to pee, window.

I said aisle. But if I'm traveling with a companion, window would be more private for nursing. Pre-kid, I was fine with window because I'm one of those freaks who could go hours without needing the bathroom!

I used to prefer aisle so I could get up to pee. But with LO I prefer the window because it's easier to muse discreetly.

Aisle. I'm tall and like to stretch my legs out as much as possible. And I HATE having to ask people to move when I have to pee (which is a very frequent occurrence for me!).

Window. I love getting a full view of the clouds and any land masses down below.

Window if I'm with DH (I like looking out and leaning against the wall), aisle if I'm flying solo so I don't need to ask a stranger to get up so I can go to the bathroom.

Aisle! I drink loads of water and am always having to pee. Also, I don't sleep much on flights so I don't mind getting up for others to get out, but I hate being the one to possibly disturb others.
@Freckles: Me too! What's your technique? I climb on the armrests and step over the person that way, but I always have a fear they will wake up at the most inopportune moment!

Window if I'm hoping to sleep. Aisle for other flights and generally middle if I'm flying with DH.
