This year, I'm feeling really grateful that the kids are doing ok lately, and that everyone has their health. My parents are older, so every year we have them in good health with feels like a miracle.
If I had to pick one thing, it'd be nice if Bee and I could take a trip somewhere just the two of us... would be nice to relax for a bit. Maybe now that Olive is weaned (a true miracle!), something like this might be possible in 2014.

a clean and tidy house with all the half finished projects done. DH was able to get the new mailbox put up and cut the trim to finish off the kitchen.

that's what i wish for whenever i make a wish. right now that would include a baby bird in a new (to us) home, and a vacation! mr bird & i are giving each other the last one for christmas

A few hours of sleep. I'm not even asking for a full night! If I could get a couple hours at a time just twice tonight, I'd cry tears of joy rather than ones of despair.

Health!
I love our life and wouldn't change a thing. But I cannot function in holiday hosting mode with this lingering illness and my baby is so miserably sick. It kills me because she's usually so tough... She is so defeated and sad. She is like a totally different kid. I'm praying she wakes up feeling better!
