Has anyone dealt with their LO having a reaction to car seat fabric? I've washed everything but she breaks out in a rash whenever she's in it and wherever it touches her skin. It's pretty hot here and I think it makes it worse. I've tried placing an A&A blanket behind her but it doesn't do much. Any suggestions?

Are you sure it's the fabric and not detergent?

@MrsCB: I use the same detergent on our clothes and her clothes...the rash started once we put her in the seat. On days we don't use the seat she's ok.

There are bamboo liners you can get for car seats.
Is it a heat rash or actual allergy to the fabric? I think a lot of car seat fabrics are treated with fire retardants so you may want to look at those.
