I feel like I am the only person who hasn't watched Star Wars before! It's all over my Facebook and I'm really out of the loop with it, since I clearly live in a box and I am obviously sheltered. Am I the only one who has never seen Star Wars? I'm guessing it is something I should add to my bucket list, for the future?

I haven't seen one single Star Wars movie. It doesn't seem like my type of thing.

I saw episode I in theatres but I don't remember anything about it (and I've since read that that one is pretty much irrelevant??). I've seen snippets of some of the others but I really know very little about it other than that Darth Vader is Luke's father (I assume that isn't a spoiler lol). DH and I are actually planning to watch them in machete order starting tomorrow night.

I saw the 3 newer ones when they came out with DH, but didn't really care about them. I recently watched the first (oldest) one and I guess I'll try to watch the others. I'm sort of ambivalent about them, even though I usually like nerdy things like that!

I may have slept through each of them at some point. Last night DH and I got a date. We got on the topic of Star Wars and he asked me to tell him everything I knew. It was mainly character names. He was fascinated.

MIL hasn't. Not sure how. She was in her 20s and early 30s (no kids yet) when the first trilogy came out. Seems like prime movie watching time to me!

I was trying to remember if I had watched bits and pieces of the series on regular, non-cable TV while growing up but I think it was Star Trek, not positive though. I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies and don't have any interest in starting now.

We have both seen the original three movies as children. We're catching up on all six this weekend before going to see the newest one. Amazon and VUDU have the best bundle price at $89
if you want to catch up/ re-watch.Most online reviewers say to skip Episode 1, we didn't because I love Liam Neeson. The suggested order is 4,5,2,3,6 and that's how we're following doing the rest.
TBH, we have now watched 1 and 4 and I have had to take naps during both. Is it pregnancy or boredom. I can't tell.

DH wanted me to watch them all so we could go see the new one in theaters. We watched the (chronologically) first one Friday. I was kind of bored. I just don't get all the hype and appeal!

To everyone who has only seen the prequels/episodes 1-3 (newer ones), try watching the original trilogy (episodes 4-6). The original trilogy is MUCH better than the prequels.
Also, the newest movie The Force Awakens is excellent. I think it is on par with the original trilogy.
